Wolfenstein 3-D - Episode 1: Escape from Wolfenstein - 314,200 pts. (w/ commentary)

id Software's 3D game engine continues to get more advanced with this classic game with VGA and stuff, going on to revolutionize the first-person shooter genre. This game is based on the Castle Wolfenstein games by Muse Software but rather than focusing on stealth, it is more action-packed. It contains two trilogies of three episodes, one being the original trilogy and the second being a prequel trilogy called the "Nocturnal Missions" which Scott Miller of Apogee conviced id to create. The player takes the role of William "B.J." Blazkowicz who was captured and imprisoned in Castle Wolfenstein while trying to find the plans for Operation Eisenfaust, who then makes his escape which is covered in the first episode, which is of course the shareware episode as the other episodes were to be unlocked by registering the product.
