Hi Mindy! 😊I couldn’t agree more that the sense of smell is the best! As you know especially after you lose it for a while you realize how much you miss it! Also I’m so thankful for this community and being able to learn so much from people in the Fragrance world! ❤️ Your other points about smell memory and changing in a scent over time really rang true for me as well! Glad you’re feeling/smelling better!😀
@@gourmindy6449 I’m getting there more slowly… It’s weird some days better than others. So weird! Yesterday I could only smell really strong ones like Coco mademoiselle intense! But I was happy about that!
Thank you Erica!! They were a little long in this one. A little outside my comfort zone (coming from someone who’s only worn lashes a couple times before RUclips!). 😊
Love this video, thank you! I’m still fairly new to fragrance, so have loved binging your videos 🥰 with reference to your first point, I actually became interested in perfume because my sense of smell is waaaay below average (genetic, my dad was virtually anosmic)! Studying notes in perfume and spending a few mindful minutes each day with a scent in my collection has definitely made a difference in my scent awareness. It’s just easy to overspray is all (according to my husband with a normal nose)😅
Wow! I love hearing about your fragrance journey and I think it’s amazing you’ve been able to train your awareness through this mindful approach!! So funny about the over-spraying! Do you and your husband tend to have similar tastes in fragrance? 😊
Love this video! #9 is it for me! 🥰😅 side note, I also lost my smell to Covid in December and it did come back gradually, so hang in there! It was awful not to smell my beautiful perfumes and body care.
I love the fun you can have with this hobby!! ❤️❤️ So glad you have it back! I’m really close at this point! 🙏🙏. On one hand I’m grateful that we had a mild experience with COVID, but losing the sense of smell for people like us is brutal! 😊🤗
Hey Mindy! I don’t usually comment because I watch your videos while doing my makeup in the morning and I’m in a rush to get out the door. But I just wanted to say that I really like this video! Also, when I had Covid I lost my sense of smell and taste as well and it took about 6 weeks for it to completely “normalize” even after I could smell things again. So don’t be TOO quick to judge fragrances…it may just be the Covid playing tricks on your nose. Great video and thanks again!
Thank you for this feedback and I know exactly what you are talking about! I experienced it in a perfume I mentioned in a video I posted today! I don’t totally trust the perfumes I’ve tested this past couple weeks that aren’t loves - so I’m going to open minded on them until I’m 100% recovered! Thanks again for taking the time to share this insight - so helpful to hear others’ experiences!! 😍😊🤗
Hi! Can you share some fragrance layering combos you enjoy and/or a video of beast mode long lasting fragrance? Drug store & high end!? Love that I found your channel today! I'm gonna binge all your videos after this one! Lol
Oooh I love these questions! And thank you for watching Strong/Long Lasting Drugstore Fancy - Jessica Simpson Cloud Intense - Ariana Grande Seductive Noir - Guess Strong/Long Lasting Designer Any of the La Vie Est Belles (love them!) Angel EDT - Mugler (performs well on me!) Angel Muse - Mugler (EDT or EDP) Mon Guerlain Intense - Guerlain Coco Mademoiselle Intense - Chanel Strong/Long Lasting Niche Pas Ce Soir - BDK Gris Charnel - BDK (must love spicy sandalwood, though - this is very strong!) Atomic Rose - Initio Parfums Delina - Parfums de Marly Bois Dore - Van Cleef & Ariel’s (unisex) Amber Oud Rouge - (dupe of BR540)
For fragrance layering combos - my favorite perfume to layer is Coco Mademoiselle Intense - it’s just stunning. I like to layer with Bon Bon (Victor & Rolf) to sweeten it up; or I like layering it with Vanilla Bourbon by Mix Bar to soften the edges!
I find it so interesting how different people smell the perfumes. Especially when it comes to comparison between fragrances and I have never seen similarities, because I get other notes more prominent than the reviewer 🙈
Right! I’ve been taken aback so many times by this kind of thing. It’s quite fascinating how people can have such dramatically different experiences with perfume!! 😊

Totally! I’ve taken my sense of smell for granted. Mine is baaack, close to 100%! I hope you are, too. 💕

O yes, I think so. Clones made me buy the original many times. And they let me experience discontinued fragrances.
Thank you for your helpful videos!
Awww, thank you so much for watching. ❤️
Wow your lashes!!! Looking stunning today! Can’t wait to hear this.

Use a saline spray, helps clean it and moisturizes your nose👍🏻
I had never even thought about that. Thank you for the recommendation! 💕
@@gourmindy6449 you’re welcome , it helped me, I used the one wit NO meds in it do I could use it as often as I wanted

I Love La Vie est belle and flankers 💗💗💗 I stay away from buying fragrances on eBay 🤨
Me too! Have you seen the new Oui flanker?!
And yeah, eBay is a mixed bag, sadly. The scammers ruin it for all of the legit sellers.
@@gourmindy6449 I haven’t heard of the oui flanker yet🤷🏻♀️ I’ll have to check up on it now , thank you 😂💗😉

Same for me #3. Even a trusted person on FB could be trading a scent that they don’t know is a fake.
So frustrating! I was so naive to think no one would ever do that! 🤦♀️. Makes me sad we have to keep our guard up, always, with fragrance!
Love your videos ❤️
Margo - thank you! That means a lot to me! 😊🤗
My post covid sense of smell is not 100% and I lost it around January 10th
Ahhhh, Rhonda - so sorry to hear that! I read it could take 2 months or longer but I refused to accept that. I hope you get it back soon! ❤️
