- #KylieRaeHarris, a country singer and songwriter from #Texas, has died following a three-car crash in New Mexico on Wednesday night (Sept. 4). The 30-year-old was killed near Taos, N.M., an area she knew well and an area where many of her loved ones died.
Harris' final Instagram stories posts reveal that she had been traveling for 12 hours and had done some reflecting about her time in Taos. The videos were filmed in a parked car, and she had appeared to reach her destination. She was scheduled to play the Big Barn Music Festival in Taos on Thursday, a festival she said she loved.

Her drunk driving killed a 16 year old girl whose father responded to the scene as the deputy fire chief. We need to care more for the victims.
That is a first responder's worst nightmare come true... I can't imagine responding to an accident and the shock of finding out that it is your loved one that's involved. My heart aches for that poor man, his family and the singer's little girl.

Sorry to hear that. There is a crash in my past. A former lover crashed on a stretch of hiway I always had to take to go home. I came up on the hole in the guide rails saw two other cars stopped and my girlfriends Mustang was 150 feet below in a river bed. Never leaves ya can always see it in my mind as vivid as a photo. That accident nearly took me with her just standing there seeing that car at the bottom in the river on it's roof. Painful memory when it's someone you loved. I stayed 14 hours until the rescue company got a recovery towing company with a crane boom to get the car up to the roadway. The sun had come up and as they took her body out of the car I collapsed woke up in the hospital. Someone I never met drove my truck home to my residence put the keys in my screen door left a note sorry 4 your loss it said.
