I'm digging your vlogs man! I've been following you for several months now so its cool to see your channel getting traction. I actually just quit my job today and am going to start traveling/daily vlogging. I'm stoked but freaking out a bit too. Anyway.... It's encouraging to see other people doing it well. Keep it up man! Maybe I'll see you on the road.
03:25 Your correct Jord, the Korean army and its allies fell back to Busan as the North Koreans backed by the might of the Chinese army pushed south. By July 1953, 1163 British soldiers had given their lives to the conflict. Many of them are buried at Nam-gu Busan. However, within one month, the Korean army and its allies had recaptured Seoul. While its continually recognised and remembered in South Korea, its sadly largely forgotten in the UK.
Hey Jord, I just wanted to let you know that you're the inspiration behind my plans to pay my car off, quit my job and travel the world. keep up the great work, live and love life dude!
i went to busan once only for a day and just got to see the haeundae beach and some busy shopping street area This place looks so beautiful though! autumn seems perfect time
Awesome video. I love Busan. Just wanted to correct you. Neither side won the Korean War. In fact, both sides are still technically at war - the two Koreas only have a "truce."
Busan is beautiful. You are correct about the refugees. Those colourful houses are where the refugees from north of Korea settled down because they couldn't return back home since the country was divided in two. What's your next destination? Planning on taking the ferry to Fukuoka, Japan by any chance? :-) Lotta/Lanttimatkat
Gamcheon really feels like Spain, doesn't it? Very mediterreanean colours and layout. That winding crank wasn't there when I went! They took the handle away.
Just watched this one with my girlfriend... nice vlog! I had no idea Busan had little colorful houses like that. Seems like a really chilled out city from what I've seen of it.
So gorgeous! (Pronunciation tip--the vowel 어 is romanized as "eo," but it's just one sound. Like "uh" but a bit rounder. You don't actually pronounce the e and the o.)
Hey Jord quick question. I watched some of your vlogs on Indonesia. You mentioned that you need an onward ticket when flying into Indonesia. I'm starting my travels in Bali next year and going around SE Asia. I have a british passport. Do I need an onwards ticket even if I intend on staying more than 30 days on a visa?
Those little colorful houses may really remember the favelas here in rio, but trust me, the favelas here in rio are not beautiful at all! Is really crappy, ugly, extremely poor and not colorful. Its is sad. Such a cool vlog tho! So excited to go live in busan!! (btw, i live in rio hahaha)
The ignorance in this video was just too painful to watch that i couldn’t finish it. Please research a little bit about the place you’re visiting ahead of time even if you’re staying for a couple of days.

WHY would you travel without learning about the place FIRST?! It makes the journey SO much better. Thanks for sharing.

I'll be heading to Busan from Seoul for a 1 day trip. Did you have to buy 2 tickets or did you use the ticket you travelled to Busan with?
Hopefully some day you'll upload a video without music background
