This is and will always be the best TMNT show of all time. Like this show had character development, intense scenes, high emotional attachment between the viewers and the characters, a great and complex story, and actual deaths that make me and probably a lot of other people genuinely sad. And it had this perfect blend of comedy and seriousness to make this the ultimate TMNT show.

Seeing Splinter in the opening credits after his death and funeral reminds us how important he was to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and everyone else. The scene of the turtles' mutation is before Splinter gives the turtles their masks, with the following lyrics taking on a whole new meaning. "Master Splinter taught [the turtles] every skill they need to be one lean, mean, green incredible team."

For sure. I’m a middle aged mum who watched it with my son who was five at the time. We still watch the dvds…great characters and story lines and killer graphics that have held up remarkably well. The theme song still rocks too! It’s our absolute favourite show

tbh I find it easy to get through the song without losing breath. You just have to match up with the beat and time the lines properly so you don’t have to rush to the next line if you make a mistake.

I’ve been a TMNT fan for as long as I can remember I was born in 02 so obviously I grew up in the peak of the 03 series as I got older I watched the classic series and movies but I have to say this show was when I became a genuine TMNT fan it’s the most well written it’s dark while still maintaining the silliness the turtles actually act like teenagers and most importantly everyone in the series most specifically the turtles and splinter have extremely descriptive and complicated personalities that make sure every fan can identify with one of the turtles
I liked the song when I was a kid, and now I understand what it means and I love it even more!
