The Maxx does have some flaws, my biggest complaint is, it is a traction roll king! Typical of most monster trucks but this one takes the cake, some strange design choices too, however imo it dominates in the 1/10 scale trucks arena , fast, durable, wheelies on command! I love driving this one, actually got something coming out for this one too, good video brother 👍
Thanks bro, it's well built , very durable and performs like a beast. I'm just having fun Trying to stir the pot and at the end of the day I like the truck a lot.
@@soulrebelrc6341 yeah I do that too lol, so did you just get the Maxx? They have a wide kit for it, just haven’t got around to installing it on mine yet, put the LEDs on it so far, my Xmaxx is very fun to drive don’t get me wrong I really enjoy it! But I think the Maxx drives better when it comes to jumping it, it seems faster too, the Xmaxx drives more like a tank, it’s just so heavy
@@rcreviews9894 I've had it a month or so. I've seen the wide kit, but I have a friend that says HR +10mm wheel spacers are just as good. I'm not sure what I'm going with but definitely the first thing I'm upgrading. I don't have an xmaxx , my son keeps begging me to get one.
Yeah cool video man, those are some interesting point about the maxx. Things to take in consideration if you're planning on buying one. Thanks for the info my friend. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Must run an aftermarket battery strap in addition to stock(bar likes to unlatch)..I run a 5s HRB on my custom build Maxx4s.(castle 2200kv/max 6 ESC) *agreed, Traxxas has designed the model to corner the upgrades. **I am super satisfied with running Hot Racing +10mm 17mm hex adapters(MXX10W01). Stock tires we like the best overall. ***We make a body Hooker kit to eliminate the body popping off. ~Stock driveshafts will eventually snap/pretzel…with 5-6s power and high punch setting. (20 runs or so) ~front Hubs and Knuckles will stretch and constantly pop apart, need aluminum upgrade. We love the model, have 2 of them….no regrets.
I've abused it so far and nothing broken yet. I'm impressed with the performance so far. I like the tires but dislike the wheels there to flexible for me.
