When I think of "romance of death", Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior, and all the Saints came to my mind. I'm glad that James Earl Jones was able to share a little bit of his Faith in that part of the conversation.
Interesting fact: James Earl Jones was a Roman Catholic convert, briefly considered the Catholic priesthood, and played one in the movie "Gimmie Shelter".
