I don't believe Brandy is underrated, she's just not appreciated as much because she's special. Brandy is an acquired taste, her voice, lyrics and music have such depth and quality that you have to be in a certain space to receive. This makes me cry. I watched my mother go through mental health issues and I suffer from anxiety and emotional health issues myself. Brandy being taken to the room screaming "Let me go" is how I feel about my mental and emotional health. It hurts so bad.😣 But Im trusting God will bring me out of it. Update: my brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia last year and took his own life exactly 24 hours ago on March 18 2024 as I’m typing this. I wish I could have saved him. We tried our best with love and compassion but he felt that this was the only way out. 💔 Fly high baby brother 🕊️

Loving and Hating people from day to day ... feeling as if you need to harm yourself to feel release of agony. It’s exhausted battling those conflicting emotions and thinking within. I'm crying cause I been there. It's like jail. I suffer from mental illness. And being played, backstabbed , emotional rollercoaster in relationships, then a tragedy got me locked up in a mental institution twice. Some ppl just cant handle or deal with those types of situations. I went from jail to a mental institution, put there by my husband. I almost killed him. He told the judge of my mental disorder and that I wasnt taking my meds. From jail I went to the mental institution. Trust me you dont want to be there. When brandy was falling over sleep from medicine, that's exactly how I was. I was in bad shape. I have 4 kids so I had to take the meds or they wont let u out. But I'm glad my husband sent me. Cause as long as I take my meds, I'm ok. I dont want to ever go back there or hurt anyone. Cause my psychosis can cause me to commit murder. I get therapy regularly. I'm in church and All that. It's a daily struggle. My kids need me so I comply with my psychiatrist and take my meds. I wouldn't wish this on no one. I love you brandy. Video hits home for me.
