I was at Dallas Lollapalooza in 91. The most amazing moment when they were playing this song. I was "working" so down in the pit in front of the stage but up on a hill (this venue was an amphitheatre) a huge bonfire was going with hundreds it seemed dancing around it. Damn those were fun days.
On their last show Perry was pissed off that his Mike wasn't turned up to match the other band members volume of their instruments// unfortunately he took his aggression out on Dave when Perry should have really the man the whole band stop playing until the sound engineer could turn his mic volume up to equal the volume of all the other band members instruments and then after the sound engineers corrected that they could have continued playing and everybody would have been happy
@@patrickwelke5431 stop believing the BS. Plenty of us were there and saw those last 3 shows in person. The sound engineer did an AMAZING job. I have been to something like 20 concerts since May 2024 and the Jane's Addiction show was by far the best sounding show I heard this summer and possibly in my entire life, actually. What was extremely clear is just how bad Perry's voice was. It wasn't the sound engineer's fault even remotely. On September 10, he had no voice and finally admitted to the audience that he doesn't know why but nothing's coming out. The audience knew why: he was completely wasted and it wasn't just alcohol. His voice was so hoarse and shot that I would guess he was smoking a lot of something and I don't think it was just pot. Additionally, he would hold the mic out at extended arm's length while he was pretend-singing, apparently thinking he was fooling the audience that his voice just wasn't being picked up by the mic, but that was obviously not what was happening.
Was it really a surprise that Flea stepped in so easily? Love Dave but not so much for Red Hot Chili Peppers step in session. Was it One Hot Minute? Mind you, no Dave No Jane's Addiction!
It’s more of the raw energy and atmosphere and performance than the singing. It’s just his style. He’s said on one hand, he wants to impress people, on the other hand, he don’t give a shit. lol.

The MADNESS MOMENT in my life was hearing it's...
Dave Navarro ti cattura la mente... I 🩵this man🎸🎸🎸⚡🤟
Man, Dave really has been good for a long time live and I just didn't realize it. He was amazing in the 2024 tour. Too bad Perry sucked.
Dave is a badass guitarist. He can absolutely shred and melt faces.

What a horrible singer Perry is live.
