Hi. I'm late checking out this great tutorial. Like you, I was able to create about 18 inches with one bunch of gyp to get the same lush look. This helps me with my estimating and pricing. Many thanks!!
Keeping the garland cool (ideally 45 degrees) and wrapped in plastic (bag or trash bag) will keep it from drying out for several days. Be careful not to leave it wrapped up for too long, it will mold. I wouldn't leave it wrapped for more than 3-4 days
Here is a link to the spool wire: amzn.to/3rqmrFf You can use any twine or rope for the lead. Babies Breath does not preserve well, but if you're looking to keep it fresh for a few days after you make it just roll it up and place in plastic bag. Keep it as cool as possible (in a spare fridge is best (not less that 40 degrees F). Good luck!
This is so beautiful! My neice decorated her wedding with baby's breath last night. I was able to bring home 3 small buckets full. If I tie them in a garland like this will they dry (preserve?) or should I dry the bundles first?
It will be best to create the garland first, then let it dry. It becomes brittle once it dried, so you would loose more blooms if you dry it first. Good luck!!
Hello! Did the garland end up being double sided throughout or single sided? I wanted to be sure I order enough to get that lush look you have at the end! Thank you!
Congratulations! You'll definitely want to practice beforehand to be sure you'll have the right quantities on order. However, I think it's safe to assume that you'll get 1.5 foot of garland per bunch of babies breath
Hello! When you say “bunch” what does that translate to in like stems? I’m bulk ordering them from sam’s club and they sell per 50 or 100 stems! Thank you in advance
@@emilysalazar64 Typical flower bunches are graded in 10 stem quantity. Babies breath is different because it is sold by weight, not stem count, based on the size of the variety bloom. Sometimes there are 6 stems in a bunch, sometimes there are 12. I just created a companion video to this, creating a babies breath centerpiece, where I touch on this subject: ruclips.net/video/ECFDxf3tVCg/видео.html When in doubt, always over-order!
Hi there! Babies Breath is sold by weight so the quantity of stems per bunch can be different each time. However, there are typically 6-8 stems in a bunch. I bet if you ask your local source to sell it to you by the bunch, instead of by the stem, they'd be happy to do it! Good luck!!
I’m getting married and all I plan on using is baby’s breath, what type of center piece do you recommend for round tables, i feel like square tables a garland works best. And about how many bunches is needed for 1 centerpieces that at the same time looks full
I think your best bet is going to be clustering 1-2 bunches of pre-trimmed and prepared stems of BB in your hands, then clip all at once and drop into a vessel of water. There are different kinds of BB, some varieties have large and fluffy flowers, some have small and tight. Decide what you like and practice well before your big day so that you won't have any worry's the week of your wedding!
If you spray it down with water or a hydrating finishing spray, and keep inside of a cooler/fridge in a plastic bag, it will last for several days. Outside of a cooler, it will hold up for approx 2 days.
Depends on the market that it's being sold in, how long the garland is, and how much the babies breath costs at the time it's purchased. Many variables at play! A guesstimate would be $15/foot.
Omg I'm in love with this video beautiful calm explanation no rush at all thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!

Hi, thanks for sharing. How do ypu keep the garland fresh? and for how long will it stay fresh?

Fantastic 🌼
do you have the links of both wires? Also, do you have a video of how to wrap to preserve? Thank you!

Thank you for this! Approximately how long did this take you in total to make?
Once you get going, it should take about 15-20 minutes to make a 4' section. The more you practice, the faster you'll get!
I’m making 5 12 FT garlands how many bunches will need? PS love your work
Thank you!! I would plan on 1 bunch of babies breath making 1.5' of lush garland.
Hi, about how many bunches would I need to make 6 feet runner.
Hi there! It depends on how full each bunch is but you should be able to do it with 2 bunches. Good luck!
How long does the garland last? I’m thinking about using this to decorate for my wedding

I would plan on 1 bunch of babies breath making 1.5' of lush garland.
Hello! I have a question about this garland. Appx how many babies breath bunches did you use for that particular length (appx 4-5')?
Excellent question! I would plan on 1 bunch of babies breath making 1.5' of lush garland.
How long will it get dried after making it as a garland
It will take at least 10 days to dry.
How much would something like this cost?
Depends on the market that it's being sold in, how long the garland is, and how much the babies breath costs at the time it's purchased. Many variables at play! A guesstimate would be $15/foot.
how many bunches of babies breath do i need for 56ft garland
I would plan on 1 bunch of babies breath making 1.5' of lush garland. So, for 56' garland, you'll need about 38 bunches. Good luck!
How do you make it fuller . Looking to use it on both sides of the aisle so we would like it fuller.
