This is inspiring, I’m 2 years younger than Terry with a Law degree and doing the same thing, hot-culture and chickens(broilers) in Jo’burg. Society has certain expectations for graduates and it could be difficult mentally when they say you went to varsity only to become a farmer. We all need to have the thick skin. Thank you for this.💪🏾
You are welcome Zash.
you on instagram??
Farming is a noble cause and quite fulfilling too financially, with hard work. Go for it bro!
😊😊😊1
Hee😲 what's wrong with being a farmer
"No one cares about your story until you Win" well done Terry you have inspired a generation!
I’ve noticed something, intelligence and humility are correlated, this guy is so humble, so honest yet so intelligent
I met Terry in 2016 at Murombedzi at our end of term SDA Zunde gathering. That was the only time I met him. No lies detected. So passionate, dedicated and inspirational - he has always been. I am not surprised that Terry is doing well, I am thrilled for him and how I pray that he continues to grow - continue following your conscience - continue praying!
Ichava nhorondo, hardworking really pays up.
This is humbling, for some of us who share the same background we can take serious lessons from this guy.
I really like what you've been doing lately Malume Trevor - bringing the young and upcoming intellectuals/entrepreneurs/industry pacesetters. We get inspired a lot from this. Some of the stories, we can relate. Terry, I'm proud of you man - humble beginnings, bright future. One day you will feed Africa. The future belongs to the youth. Let's keep moving!
Famba Terry, represent! Cheering you on all the way.
Our own radical entrepreneur Terry Maphosa. Please consider bringing Dumisani lingamangali Ncube in this great conversation. Thank you Trevor.
You're going far my brother.More grace to you.
''It was just me and the drive, without the knowledge." You came a long way Terry. Kudenga kuna Mwari wangu
Exactly !!! this guy is an inspirer, a leader and a bread winner. His story can open your mind
Great interview. This guy represents the youth. A story we can all relate to.
Thanks to you Trevor and Terry. Inspirational indeed.
This story resambles each and every young person's story in zim. Lack of knowledge, lack of money, frustration, start and restart
Thank you Trevor , for even recognizing the youth. It was very inspiring indeed. @Terry i wish you all the best on your endeavors
This is inspirational, I knew Terry when he was working at Colorsel Gweru, he is such a spirit...
Great interview Trevor, the sky is the limit for this humble hardworking gentleman
Wow, the power of self belief! The best thing you did is to befriend your mother. Ndazvichiva izvi. Her prayers will propel you afar. Keep walking, man.
Mwana wamai wangu 👏😍
This is so inspiring. Stay true to yourself. You are going places 😍😍😍
I love you Sis❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, impressive. Well done Terry for being an excellent role model to your peers. Keep going
I really love Terry story. You're an answer to economic challenges of the youth of zim and the whole of Africa. Rise up rise up. M following you and Trevor from neighborhood south Africa.
Very fruitful conversation, imagine an entire nation having such great ambitions and positiveness like this young man our Zimbabwe will be a force the entire universe
Thank you Trevor for bringing these great young minds. I now believe it is people who are like Terry who are to steer this economy to greater heights and real development.
You are welcome Tawanda.
Damn Right!!.. The Zimbabwe negative naysayrs etc are just tiresome. The govt must give land to the willing youth and provide tech hubs for those so inclined to do tech start ups.
Interesting....how do we get to be part of these conversations and also share our stories Sir.
A real inspiring story you love by Terry. May God bless you in your future plans. You are a strong force for many generations to come.
And all the best with your wedding preps.
Going back to the roots. Quite an inspirational young man who is not ashamed of his background, that's the part I love the most, and seeing him time and again posting his photos in the rural areas ane shena and doing his rural things always amazes and fascinates me.
Great interview Trevor.
At Terry your mantra is actually a verse in the Bible
Proverbs 14:23 All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty (NIV)
Honestly...all other interviews I would just listen a few minutes and say ..ohhhh great ....but same old advises from rich people 😁😁😁
But Terry hit the heart. This is the story we have been waiting for ...no disrespect for other stories...but there is a vast of majority who identifies with Terry 's group.
Very very practical.
Mr Trevor 👏👏👏👏👏 new follower thank you
Thank you so much Terry for representing rural folks. As for me you did not atticulate why you went on a one man protest. If there was no economic meltdown Terry there are many jobs for a political scientist. Preach the real gospel that due to political instability in Zimbabwe, all graduates are now worthless whilst a lot of money was invested in them. Should the whole nation be farmers, vendors and makorokoza? No educated youngesters must teach their rural counterparts about economic meltdown, change their mind sets to understand who are really making life difficult for everyone. Given a chance to broadcast Terry you have to kill it, but you are scared like every other Zimbabwean youngster.
Inspirational, powerful all rounder
Thank you Terry for inspiring us the young people of Zimbabwe. Thank you Trevor for bringing Terry to tell our story as young people in a different and unusual version which will positively impact every African youth...
When they say, the youth are the leaders of tomorrow, I believe they will be referring to guys like these. This is great, I must say. I have drawn so many lessons and I think I also start fishing so that I can ease my mind a bit. But this is truly inspiring. These are the real heroes.
I am touched, I have always enjoyed farming but at the same l have always imagined being a boss at a big company in the country but from this interview I have learned my lesson. Am gonna follow my passion. Thank you Trevor and one day I will be in conversation with you
Prince Machiavelli's republic. You brought me back to one of my favorite books
Very humbled young man…well disciplined and eager…Inspirational too.All the best in what you do my brother.
Real life experience from this young man proud of where came from, confidant of himself no matter whether he had shoes or not. Truly impressive Lad

Thats true we didn't get enough career guidance 🙏, you are an inspiration Terry
This is inspiring bro , we are all learning from you keep on pushing
Very inspirational from a lad. There is no limit.
Yu really motivate me. Yu definitely a winner. Keep doing what you doing. I always want to teach my fellow young brothers Abt Career guidance but they think l looking wht they are doing down. In Zimbabwe we all did wrong courses because we lack career Guidance.
What God has for you will always be for you... 1:00:00 . I like his patience and belief. Not panicking at all.
Well done Terry,if we could all grab the lemons thrown at us and make lemonade, drink, survive and sell the leftovers to get money....
We need a generation of young people who look beyond their degrees and face the reality on the ground, jobs are scarce globally, lets create our own jobs and most importantly make or own food.bravooooo Terry!!
You're phenomenal Trevor! Thanks Terry
thank you so much trevor for your amazing interviewing skills you have a fantastic way of going deep for us all to get a picture and understand more about peoples journey. This is an inspiring story!!!
I can relate to this, we went to university without career guidance, just to get a degree.
Plus nharo sometimes we dig in even when even family and friends give us advise. We have blinkers...
So inspiring. l look forward to your twitter posts Terry .you are so humble and real

Quite inspiring story with a background that most young people can relate to. Keep Shining Terry
A truly inspiring story by Terence. Keep on doing this great work. Surely hardwork is a key cornerstone to one's success. Thank you Mr. Trevor for bringing Terry onto the show.
Thank you Terry. I have learnt alot and you have inspired me.
That's Great Terry... keep it up you honestly motivate me to see my dreams come through ...projects is my dream and poultry I love it ...piggery .. horticulture and more I can't shed for now .
Bright Youngman, but l want to ask why go to the Banks, why can't we as blacks establish a "shareholding asset vehicle" where those with free funds can invest into your venture and you pay them off with dividends as you venture into your various business expansions, be it fishing, restaurants etc, you definitely need to open up even butcheries, l personally would be interested in investing my funds into your empire, you are going far.
It's a good idea
True saying . Everyone has his or her grace from God. Love you Terry you are saying the reality
Thank You Trevor for sharing Terry 's journey. I think he should also have a look into hydrophonics , a great new way of farming which uses less water just to diversify
Awesome episode
What you are doing is a great initiative Trevor. Teaching us to celebrate our own success stories; the young and the old, ladies and gents, educational nor entrepreneurial, in the rural areas and in urban areas, online and even on the ground.
