Thank you so much for posting this. So many fans cannot attend Tom and Michael always good value and great banter between the two of them. They seem to have retained such a great friendship during Smallville and still going strong years after the show has ended. It is great to see them taking time out to do so many of these events for the fans.

Oh god....when that guy mentioned Allison, all I could think was...."Oh no." Thank goodness it didn't end up going in that direction. Too sensitive a subject. Curious, yes, since they had worked together on Smallville for so many years. But for fun light hearted panel talk, it's the last thing Tom and Michael would want to talk about. Every Con I'm terrified someone is going to breach that boundary and ask about Allison, that's why Michael was scared too "I thought we were gonna leave from that, we survived Australia..." and then it was just about her being asked about pranks on set last year. Phew.
Thanks for uploading this whole panel, btw!

lol, yeah, I think he really should have left Allison's name out of his question. But at least he wasn't asking about her. I'm going to meet Tom Welling at the London Film & Comic Con in July, and I'm gonna still be terrified someone is going to be dumb enough to mention her to him at the panel. John Schneider is also going to be there, though I believe he's there more for Dukes of Hazard this time than Smallville. You can't really mention her name and not think about what has happened. It's so sad, 'cause she was such a huge part of Smallville and Tom especially worked so closely with her. I think if someone asks a question relating to Chloe Sullivan, it would be ok, as she is a character that we all love and I will still love. We just have to distinguish Chloe from Allison.

I'll say it again cuz I'm not tired of saying it yet. Smallville was supposed to be five seasons but it was doing so well that they decided to jump the shark and keep going and I honestly don't know if that was a good idea because I think they probably could have done everything they needed to do within five seasons. I mention this because 10 seasons on the show I Now understand better that it put everybody under enormous strain and along the way how people fell away from the show how they got lost. Some of them got into trouble and for some of the cast mates it was a very difficult experience being on the show Welling had almost no downtime he was exhausted the whole time when you showed up at Comic-Con he was always quiet and reserved and probably a little sleepy but it was a very difficult experience for him and it's amazing what he pulled off it's amazing what he did they all did but Tom was in every single episode and worked his butt off to give us the most comprehensive experience of Superman Clark Kent in the entire methos. Tom stepped away for a time from Smallville and I'm glad to see that he has gotten to a point where he can laugh and joke about it but Smallville is a lot like a complicated relationship
When it's over you might have you too close to be casual but later on you can appreciate it better. And I'm glad Tim is still friends with Michael Rosenbaum complete freak and the nut and from what I understand a very very good friend and a very decent human being. I'm grateful to Tom for all the work that he did and the cast as well and even though Smallville is over I'm glad that the people or at least some of the people are still doing well for themselves. Okay I'm going to stop ranting now.

Michael and Tom are great together. It's fun watching Tom trying to justify not wearing the suit at the finale to "keep the show's integrity" but sooner or later even he has to admit not wearing the suit was a bad decission.
