This is like the version with Sun Qian Xuan and Wang Nan except the sub plot of this is the real/fake daughter and cutting ties with the family, and cultivation. The actress who plays the mom also played the mom in another eavesdropping on her thoughts plot that had the same subplot of fake/real daughter and cutting ties with the family and a system. I enjoy the comedy in the plot so I'll add it to my Eaves dropping on her thoughts playlist!

Don’t question the logic, because there are a lot of things that don’t make sense, just accept it as humorous. Another twist, they can hear her inner thoughts. What ensues is hilarity and mayhem, I especially liked the bit with the cards and the dad. 😂😂😂😂😂 Enjoy.

If that is meant as humour, it got old real fast.

Have seen similar drama with different actors. The original has a cute and more fun actress as FL so did the actor. This one not so much with more exaggeration and sexier FL that not fit the character of the taoist vibes..
