I loved her speech and the award she got is truly deserved but.... i didnt feel the crowd cheering her up like they should! anyway loved the speech and im very happy that she is getting recognized ..finally!! Reeese Whiterspoon a name to remember in the industry period!!!

She's an admirable woman. I have a lot of respect for her choice in career direction and deciding to shine a light on the lack of female driven material. I bet it made her a few enemies along the way if Hollywood is anything like the financial industry.

Dear magnificent Hollywood, I implore you to create more deserving awards to bestow upon these outstanding individuals who are so deserving, as they are champions of freedom, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of intellectual thought. They are storytellers whose powers and visions shall not go unnoticed for it would be a disgrace to all creators, innovators, nay, to all humanity.
