6:01 What exactly does everything mean? I have already set up many events in my Client Tag Manager. Does this also mean that they are all sent to the server and then to GA4 if the configuration tag of the respective events is the server GA4 tag? Or do I do nothing more in the Client Tag Manager from now on, but only in the Server Tag Manager?
Great video! About Stape, just a warning for small businesses that want to use the free monthly quota of 10,000 requests: In the first few months, they renewed my monthly quota. But now support told me that it would not renew and that my only way out would be to go to the paid plan. So take that into account before embarking on the learning curve to set up Stape.
Stape does not renew a free subscription only in case you used more than 12 000 requests in the current month. So if you use 8 000 requests each month. It will be always free.
Con los últimos cambios, ya no existe la etiqueta Google Analytics tag: GA4 Configuration, ahora ¿cómo puedo hacer la conexión entre contenedor web y servidor?
Great video! So this only works for Google Analytics? Or can I do the same thing with Google ads Tag & Facebook Pixel? + If so, how do you set up conversions with GTM server side? Answer would be much appreciated. Thanks 🙏🏽
Great option to lower costs in a simple way. What is your experience with running sgtm on Cloud Run? I read it can be a good alternative to app engine for lower traffic sites.
THX for teaching, good explaining, I want to ask , how cant I do both web and server tracking ?? I found that after setting server container url, all events go to the server container url, and dont go to the original ga url, but I want to use both, do you know how to do that ???
Question: with this GTM server side model, does the GTM Javascript container tag still need to be placed on the website? If so, wouldn't Cloudflare's zaraz tool be more truly server side since that didn't require and Javascript tag to fire on the website and therefore be even better at getting around ad blockers?
is there a way to send purchase data (transactions, revenue, etc.) back to Facebook as a conversion for a website that doesn't allow installing a pixel but has a native integration with Google Analytics (UA)?
Great introduction and keeping us all up2date! can you explain how to do this for FB Capi and Active Campaign with stape? Thanks and keep the good work up
Hi thank you for the video. Do you have additional details about the limits e.g. Request per second? Is it comparable with the limits of cloud run/app engine?
@measureSchool do you know if there are API integrations for GTM's server side container? Hoping to integrate directly with my CRM so I can pass more first party parameters
Yes, you can make async request to an API and enrich your outgoing request that way. Additionally there are native ways to pull in data from a Firestore database.
Your question doesn't quite make sense. These tools can send "more data" GA4 of course, but you could also use other methods to send that data to GA4. By itself GA4 can track the same data, but not by default.
When setting up server side GTM and pushing it through a GA4 account, what happens if you use an existing GA4 account instead of a new one. Is that going to mess up the reporting data in the existing GA4 account?
After implementing all the steps you've Shown in this video, when will I m going to preview from server side GTM it's showing {{ctrl.navltem.title}} only on the whole screen.

Awesome Julian, thank you very much. Wanted to start exploring server side tagging but the big price point kept me from trying it out.

HI,
What plugin do you use to differentiate between GTM Server and Client?
Great video!

I set this up and Zape doesn't appear to be avail in Australia as it's not listed in server locations... will this impact it?

Super clear and concise video. Thank you.

Can you please create video for :-
Tracking with anomalies on any page impression in the Google analytics.

Valeu!

Awesome video! - Can services like Segment and FreshPaint collect more date to send to GA4 than just using GA4 by it self?

Dan rocks eh?
Another youtuber just trying to make sales instead of teaching us how to do this manually. Wonderful.
Stape is so not simple to set up.

Sorry to say nothing new.
