here's how you *actually* get between heathrow and gatwick
1. bus - take the SL7 to croydon, then take a train to gatwick
2. train (one connection and cheap) - take the elizabeth line to farringdon and then take thameslink to gatwick
3. train (multiple connections and expensive) - take the heathrow express to *paddington* , then take circle line to victoria, then take the gatwick express to gatwick.
for comfort, the bus is best.
for speed, the expensive train is best.
for cheap, the cheap train is best.
