YESSSSS! S-Tier for the Braves! And for all the Reasons I Love the Jersey! Nothing Fancy or Flashy, Just Functional, Sensical, and Practical! Keep Up the Good Work, Robbie!
Earlier tonight during the cubs game, the broadcast showed the clip of cronenworths glove breaking and the tweet they showed with the video said "Fanatics glove." So even some broadcasters share the fans feelings about the jerseys
funny how a lot of the older uniforms look better than the current day team uniforms, compare these new ones to the old ones and the new ones look like they had the life sucked out of them
I completely agree. At the time I think a lot of people thought they were too experimental/straying from classic looks, but now most jerseys look the same with the only difference being a logo change.
Mets fan. Yeah, Yanks are iconic. Their away font is iconic also. Why they changed it, I don't know. My favorite Mets colors are the black and blue from 2000s. Whatever shade of orange they've been using lately looks like hot pink on the screen. Not liking it. I also don't like that teams are allowing clashing gear colors. Watching Lindor in canary yellow cleets is just wrong. Used to be all padding, gloves and shoes had to be neutral or color matched. The ridiculously large gold chains are...ridiculous also.😂
Most times I don't like the # on the front especially paired with a logo on the other side. Patch logo looks better on the cap and the number below is better.
I’m not a fan of numbers on the front of jerseys but LA Dodgers does a great job However, all teams should have numbers on front of jerseys or sleeves, it would make it easier identifying who’s who, especially us that keep score on a score book. Your right saying the Orioles and Rays are giving the Red Sox a hard time the last few years, it has become like a little rival between them.
How can you not put the athletics in S, also I’m a royals fan, and feel like we have almost exactly the same jerseys as the dodgers, so we should be in the same tier as them
You should do alternate jerseys. I think you would love the A's kelly green jerseys. I think the A's belong in the S tier. How many do you know that can pull off green?
I have always felt that the Rays logo has been very underappreciated, and naturally when that happens, people wont like the uniforms. For a long time I understood why people didn't seem to like it, as it's pretty basic. And you don't piss off a big franchise when you place them lower. All of those things I understood for a long time. But I've noticed more and more teams are going for a simplistic, simple look, and as the years go on, I've noticed that the Rays home jersey is aging very well. It's becoming a classic look in my eyes, which is wild considering it's not old at all. Winning helps too, of course.
You gave the Giants a higher ranking than the Dodgers, so this is an S-tier list. Really the only disagreement I have is that I don't dislike any jersey enough to make an F tier. I do dislike seeing the Dodgers jersey in action because they're so obnoxiously good, but it is a top-notch jersey. But the Giants jersey is clearly better.
I have to respectfully disagree about the Braves, while it is iconic, from a distance the thick piping running down into the thick workmark makes it look cluttered and a bit hard to read.
dodgers jeresy is the best in mlb should easily be s tier, if the braves are s theres no reason the dodgers jersey which is much cleaner and nicer on the eyes shouldn't be there
I think you underrated the Tigers at C a bit. Bottom 8 in your ranking? Classic Jersey much like Yankees (albeit without pinstripes), to which you gave an A. You said you wanted more orange, but did you know Detroit is the ONLY team to have a color in its away uniforms that isn’t present in the home uniforms. Anyway, just my 2¢.
The Astros can do so much better at home. On the road is fine but I think number one the color scheme needs to be flipped from navy predominantly to orange, at home and away. Then design a unique home jersey wordmark. Heck restore the "shooting star" logo. The Astros have had too much uniform history to be so basic.
Dodgers. White Sox. Nationals. Giants. As. Padres. Texas. Royals. Orioles. Rockies. Mets. Yankees. Pirates. These teams with the most stylish uniforms these uniforms will stand the test of time these are real MLB uniforms they are modern uniforms with that piping do not do anything for their teams that piping been around before I was born and am 69 years old it's an old boring design uniforms with that annoying design it look like they went to k mart and bought them off the rack or goodwill or the flea market
Disgruntled Rockies fan checking in. I get that the purple pinstripe jersey may not be your vibe. But the Rox do have an iconic all purple alternate they wear both on the road and at home. If you want purple, they wear it at least once a series.
Braves have the best unis in baseball. It's nearly impossible to find a ranking that doesn't put yankees, Dodgers and Cardinals at the top but 2 of those are just plain silly to rank so high. If you're ranking plainest or most boring than yeah but best no. The Braves show the perfect amount of piping which just makes the unis pop. Although I dont know what the hell people were thinking with the change this year. They moved the stripes on the sleeve right to the end where there used to be a sliver of white left. It doesnt seem like a big change but it does look alot different and not for the better but still got to have them #1. I miss their cream alternates though. The retro changes of late have been for the better mostly. With the Bluejays nearing perfection (almost entirely based on their number font which is perfect). The Brewers and Padres both fixed what had become 2 of the most outdated and ugly unis in the bigs. The Reds, Tigers & Guardians really need to make some changes. Hell for the tigers just a little piping and losing about 42 of their belt loops would go a long way. I think a lot of people confuse unis being around a long tame without change as classic with good. As if anyone cares or it matters heres mine: 1. Braves 2. Bluejays 3. Giants 4. Brewers 5. Orioles 6. Athletics 7. Yankees 8. Padres 9. Cubs 10. Twins 11. Phillies 12. Whitesox 13. Pirates 14. DBacks 15. Rangers 16. Mariners (Same problem as Rockies. Such unique colors Use it!) 17. Royals 18. Mets 19. Rays 20. Angels 21. Rockies (Now if it's just the pin stripes one it goes way down at the bottome. You have purple which is rare, use it) 22. Cardinals 23. Dodgers 24. Redsox 25. Marllins 26. Astros 27. Nationals 28. Guardians 29. Reds 30. Tigers
It was a clickbait-y thumbnail on purpose. You should watch the whole video though, my first time stumbling upon this guys channel and I thought it was a pretty good video.
I’ve already lost 2 subscribers with this video. I guess opinions on jerseys really hit people in the feels.
Lol
The Phillies cream jersey is so much better than the pinstripes.
As a Phillies fan i like cream Uniform better to i Phillies script and numbers looks better with Blue trim .
I'm so glad the Diamondbacks finally have good unis. The 2016 ones were an abomination.
YESSSSS!
S-Tier for the Braves! And for all the Reasons I Love the Jersey!
Nothing Fancy or Flashy, Just Functional, Sensical, and Practical!
Keep Up the Good Work, Robbie!
All the jerseys suck now that fanatics makes them now
The worst
Earlier tonight during the cubs game, the broadcast showed the clip of cronenworths glove breaking and the tweet they showed with the video said "Fanatics glove." So even some broadcasters share the fans feelings about the jerseys
Fanatics has been making them since 2017. Did you have a problem with them before 2024? No? Blame Nike.
@@bluejazz04 Yes blame nike!!!!!!
This guy is very repetitive
funny how a lot of the older uniforms look better than the current day team uniforms, compare these new ones to the old ones and the new ones look like they had the life sucked out of them
Crazy right??
I completely agree. At the time I think a lot of people thought they were too experimental/straying from classic looks, but now most jerseys look the same with the only difference being a logo change.
@@imoorzy literally they all look the same now lmao that was spot on
St. Louis approves of this ranking 👍🏼
Braves logo is so good, the tomahawk, and the red, and navy blue mixed in looks so good
11 out of the 15 NL leagues ranked S & A tier … pretty interesting. And my Mets got an S which I was surprised. I knew we were at least an A though.
Are we going to see videos for road and alternates?
Blue Jays and Cardinals are the two best
Away jersey rankings. Just more jersey rankings
Yankees home jersey is iconic, historical and traditional. It’s #1…end of discussion.
I'm a Braves fan and the Yankees jersey historic, perfect.
But it’s the Yankees, so it’s automatically an F.
Mets fan.
Yeah, Yanks are iconic. Their away font is iconic also. Why they changed it, I don't know. My favorite Mets colors are the black and blue from 2000s. Spoiler alert they all suck now
At least my Reds made a good ranking...and if the Marlins went back to the 90's with the Teel hats and pinstripes they would have the best jerseys
Most times I don't like the # on the front especially paired with a logo on the other side. Patch logo looks better on the cap and the number below is better.

Astros fan here and I agree with you on the script being booooring. Love the orange and blue though
🔥🔥

My only question (and this is mostly bias as a tigers fan) but you said that Classic and simple was great for the Dodgers, but boring for the Tigers.
I like the colors more for the Dodgers
Tigers have one of the greatest jerseys with the English D. If it’s not broken don’t fix it.
Cubs are B tier
Have you done City Connect Jerseys? Maybe after all the 2024 team jerseys are revealed.
I have done a couple, but I will do another City Connect one once they’re all revealed, yes.
You should do alternate jerseys.
That’ll be soon! 🤝
@@rhyde sweet thanks brother

Dodgers at A is an abysmal take
Your bias is showing

Anything with pinstripes is S to me😂
dodgers jeresy is the best in mlb should easily be s tier, if the braves are s theres no reason the dodgers jersey which is much cleaner and nicer on the eyes shouldn't be there
wait till you learn what an opinion is
I agree the dodgers jersey is a for sure S! Tier..
IMO braves jerseys are better
Detroit tigers are S tier. Period
Mariners unis are fire
Their 90s one for sure
As long as arte is up top… nothing is changing

No bias here at all /s 😆

Lmao I don't like the Disney logo era at all. CA angels on the other hand...
Those were clean!

They all get an F (for Fanatics).
Blue Jays have one of the best... you wrong man.
i dont see a difference. its just a white jersey with a logo multiplied.
Dodgers. White Sox. Nationals. Giants. As. Padres. Texas. Royals. Orioles. Rockies. Mets. Yankees. Pirates. I feel like I’m the only one that doesn’t think the Red Sox uniforms are all that great
Not all MLB teams are on there
Check again

I think the Brewers best jerseys were from 2000 to 2019
Also the new jerseys are disgusting. My sons little league team are better quality.
PREACH
PADRES= S Tier
The Yankees jerseys are about 50 year overdue for an upgrade, they are so bland. Move the ny to the sleeve and put the team name on the front
Interesting idea
Cubs #1.
Screw the Yankees..it's 2024 and they still even put the players names on the jerseys.
The Yankees still think it's the 1920s.
Not the 2020s.
Red Sox get an A+ and Yankees get a C. Gee, I wonder who your favorite team is.
