    Nice job!
    Please consider losing the Flex-fan in favor of a stock fan with a fan clutch, or even better yet, a thermostatically controlled electric fan or two.

      Funny you said that I’ve been debating on getting a fan with a clutch… I’ve notice my other car stays cooler with it. But I’m also thinking of going electric fans

    What a great job. Did you install everythng yourself? What kind of gas mileage do you get in the city?

    • @nickbrooksgarage
      @nickbrooksgarage  21 день назад

      Yes I did everything myself in the garage! I’d guess I get 13mpg in the city

      It’s been great perfect amount of power for a daily driver… I am having an issue with heat soak on the starter because of the long tube headers though

      @@nickbrooksgarage Heat Shield may help on starter

      I have a mini starter I put a heat wrap on but I feel like it’s just trapping the heat in once it gets hot. I’m going to order an AC Delco starter and a heat shield now!
