Adding this solution I had the issue with an HP LJ 600 M602. Some jobs would print fine from paper tray (2), others would want to use manual feed tray (1). The solution was the tray paper type setting/definition. I had to change Tray 2 to be Any (Tray 1 was already Any). This fixed the issue.
Thank you! I had my settings setup correctly but it would still say Load Tray 1. Moving the little adjustment tabs in the printer didnt work! BUT what did work from your video is selecting the default tray 2 from you printer menu on the actual printer. Great video!

Just take the paper tray completely out and push it in again with a bit of force. Sometimes this will get the sensor to work.
