Hey I was wondering about your thought process on something. In this VOD you said he didn’t have as much impact as you’d like on Reyna, so he should switch agents. You’ve also said in the past that if someone can’t entry effectively, they shouldn’t play a duelist. But how are people supposed to learn? Couldn’t this guy also just practice Reyna more, rather than settling for an agent he might not enjoy playing? Thanks have a good day man, love the content.
That makes a lot of sense. I think a person should certainly pick the agent that they enjoy the most as at the end of the day it’s all about who you have the most fun with. It’s a video game for entertainment. In my case, I found two agents I’m good with and love to play; Neon and Sage. I’m learning Reyna as I find her fun.

I watch a lot of coaching videos, like almost too many, and almost all of them mention teamwork and bait setups, playing off contact etc. I understand how to do all of that in theory but I don't know how I'm supposed to get my silvers to do that. They usually aren't like me and they play for fun, which means they don't spend hours on RUclips watching videos like this so when I say "we have to default" or "play off my contact" they don't understand it cause they just come home from school or work and want to shoot a gun for an hour, which is fine but that leaves me feeling unable to work with them. How do I actually *_do_* IGL-ing and get my teammates to work with me?
I'm silver as well and I main brim so most of the time it falls on me to igl and tbh I have to force my teammates to listen to me. If I don't yell at them to pay attention and do what I say they just throw the game and blame eachother.

There is never a problem with maining an agent IMO. Its moreso about finding your playstyle, and matching that to a group of agents/role itself. For me, Omen is my main but I play a ton of Brim and am learning Viper/Sova!
You should main the agent or agents that fit your playstyle the most. Generally you want to learn one character from each class, but there's no way you can play 5 characters at the same level unless you're really good, so most people just focus on 1 or 2 characters they main, and then have others they play just to fill what the team needs

No, because yorus teleport has so much lag that its basically throwing if you do it without flashing first. And the yoru has to pop the flash before he tp's or he'll blind himself. Your best bet is to hold the angle where the yoru is, turn from the flash and then listen to where you hear the tp from and then flick to the nearest corner where it is. Remember that yoru's tp doesn't stop until it reaches a corner so it always lands in corners.

I think one of my strong suits is taking guidance well and I always strive to incorporate principles I've learned into future games. Furthermore, I'm pretty decent at explaining my current thought process and voicing questions. I've done a couple VoD reviews before which have helped, but I think a more trained eye could definitely help me identify further issues in my gameplay, especially in regards to positioning and decision-making.
