Thank you, I was looking at ways to use fluidpi and mainsail remotely and this is working for me. My octoprint setup is using simplyprint to remote monitor and I was paying for it, but now I can cancel it. one thing I wanted to say is the text on the screen when you fully zoom out was hard to read even when I had full 1080p quality.
Works great! I did have trouble accessing the remote server via my phone until I changed web browsers. The Samsung browser would not connect but Chrome does
THANK YOU. i was so stuck with this error! i was adding the printer IP address to the config file. In not an expert with networks. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
for anyone doing this now, if you have trouble with it intsalling, uplug your raspberry pi from your mainboard and connect a power supply if needed, then install it again and it should work
Added my ip to the trusted list, save and restart, now mainsail can’t connect to moonraker. Without that connection the only option is to reflash mainsailos as far as I can tell
Found the issue. He does it but doesn’t specify the importance. You MUST double tab when adding your ip addresses. If you do not you will have to reflash mainsail
hi when doing the tailscale up command via ssh, i get this error failed to connect to local tailscaled (which appears to be running as tailscaled, pid 11235). Got error: Failed to connect to local Tailscale daemon for /localapi/v0/status; systemd tailscaled.service not running. Error: dial unix /var/run/tailscale/tailscaled.sock: connect: no such file or directory i followed the guide and pasted every command into my ssh.
The whole trusted IP thing is really weird, most of mobile service providers use dynamic IP. And it's not like wire internet, where you can effectively keep your IP by never turning your modem off, it is very likely to change every time your phone connects to another access point(be it 3G, 4G, or whatever).
