After three decades in between recordings, last November Northern Haze shared a collection of songs that burst with love for the land, language and for their lost bandmates, hope for the future and pure raw glorious joy for the hard rock riffs that have defined their sound since the 80s.
Now, Northern Haze share a music video for the song “Qainna,” which most definitely takes the title of first music video ever filmed in Igloolik, Nunavut. For the uninitiated, “Qainna” is a perfect introduction, with a psychedelic video that shows the band performing in head-to-toe caribou. “Qainna” was filmed by fellow Aakuluk Music labelmate Josh Qaumariaq (Josh Q & The Trade Offs).
