      Thanks Mac! The first motorcycle I ever got a ride on was one of these owned by Gary and Wimpie. I guess the memory never left me.

      Thanks!!!! I’m building up a new CT70 project now so I’ll get more shareable content from this one. I didn’t make as many blow by blow clips for this bike. Thanks for watching and sharing nice feedback!!

      @@brian.d.mobley Hi Brian, I have a CT70 that I would like to have restored. Do you restore them for others? If so, how much do you charge? If you don't, do you know someone that does? I am in north Texas.

      @@Yak52able I dont do that kind of work for money, basically. However, there are plenty of people who do with varying degrees of skill. There is a guy north of Houston named Terry Burleigh who does a lot of CTs but Im not sure if he does it for hire. Another guy who does a great job in California is Bill Schulz. I think he is the best at it. I would do it for you if I had the time, but I have so many bikes in my queue already that I just dont have room for another! Join the "Honda CT70 Trail Enthusiasts" on Facebook and you can meet all these people.

    Why didn’t you peel that blue strip of the seam chrome strip. I’m doing a 78 now. I know it won’t turn out as nice as yours. I am a bit frustrated with the lack of parts for the 78. Any direction you can send me would be appreciated

    • @brian.d.mobley
      @brian.d.mobley  5 месяцев назад

      I just didn’t want to peel it off. No special reason. As for finding parts, it’s not easy. Patience, persistence and determination.

      @@brian.d.mobley I wish I could show you what I’ve got to start with and get your expert opinion if I should continue or if I should try to sell what I have and get better canvas to begin with.
