Pam here….I am legally blind, and very very fair and blonde …I have lost a lot of my lashes and brows very thin….along with declining vision I just wanted to make make up easier. So I had permanent makeup done! And I love it. Just eyeliner and my brows. And what a difference that makes. I can dab just a little shadow on just below my brow bone. A dab of blush and lip gloss. Done. 30seconds. And I just look healthy, and not like a blank slate ghost…becasue I am so fair. I had a wonderful person, a nurse that does permanent makeup, Anew Permanent Makeup here where I live. She is very judicious and doesn’t overdo it. Worth every penny!

Hi, you sound like a beautiful person inside and out. I was going to say that although I’ve never done it, I guess you can have your lashes lifted and colored so it looks like you have darker lashes. I mention it in case it is something you might want to try.

I enjoy your videos so much,,,started losing my hair a few years ago mainly on top…with my eyes…toppers too much fuss…but from what I have learned I get so many compliments and amazed people at my wigs! They look so much better and are easier to ‘do’ than my real hair has been for the past decade!! Thank your for your inspiration and education!

I admire your bare faced journey. I’ve thought about it but I just FEEL BETTER with makeup. My mood actually, noticeably lifts. I have pep in my step when I see myself complete. If I looked as nice as you without makeup, I’d consider it too. But I’m 73 and that’s the difference…. My 2024 favorite is still Joss, (RoP). Congratulations Taz..you’re a precious blessing.

My 2024 favorites were Kris (I have two) and Trend. I get so many compliments in them, with the typical response being, "that hair is so you!" Thank you for your fab reviews. I learn so much each time I watch. Happy New Year, "Taz"!

Mrs Taz you do not need makeup your a natural beauty. I stopped wearing it around 60 and boy do I feel free! Also, did you see where even the rich and famous Pamela Anderson and some others switched over to no makeup. They’re in the public eye constantly. Be free and express the real you, so refreshing and the time we gain back, omg it’s worth it!
Yesss! I saw clips of Pam Andersons interview on D Barrymore Show.. WOW! For someone that built their identity on glamorous, sexy looks, she was really brave! You look great without makeup. I am interested to see the minimal makeup trend. I gave up on makeup years ago. Eye makeup first for the reason you mentioned. Lately just fine without any. Just use some moisturizer and eyebrow powder because without it you cannot see my eyebrows and they are part of your expression. Trends come and go but one advantage to being old is that you ignore them. Just be yourself.

Wut? You have no makeup on, other than a little blush? Yet, you still look great. BTW: Up until a year ago, i wouldn't walk to the mailbox without full makeup. I didn't even want to stay home barefaced, because when I walked by the mirror, i'd scare myself. LOL. Yet, something hit this last year, and I am minimizing my house, my closet, and cutting way down on makeup. What in the world is going on? 😆

You exude natural beauty Taz with or without makeup as your beauty comes from inside. I’ve tried foundation and eyeshadows on very few occasions in the last 50 years but I haven’t felt comfortable and haven’t felt like myself . I now wear only mascara and lipstick put a wig on my head and I’m good to go. Great freedom xx

Wow I really admire you taking the step to simplify. A lot of us could work on that idea I’m sure. I often over complicate my life and I’m finding every time I buy new makeup or a new “device” it’s more annoyance and work. I don’t enjoy it the way I enjoy wigs and hair.

It’s hard to pick a favorite on you , partially because I’m so preoccupied looking at your face. I barely recognized you without makeup. I have to say that you look so much younger minus the makeup. Not that you needed to look younger to start with. I so enjoy your reviews . I often will look up to see if you have reviewed a wig I’m thinking of buying because I want your take on it. Also, it’s nice to see some darker colors in your wig wardrobe. Looking forward to what you’ll be showing us in 2025!

Hey Sweet Taz. You are pretty with and without makeup, but you are SO GOOD at applying it that I find it surprising that you don't like putting it on. If I could apply makeup like you do, I would definitely wear it more. Since I retired, there's really no reason to put it on, but I do wear some lightly when I leave the house. 😁 Kris is truly adorable. Taz, you look beautiful no matter how you wish to present yourself. The wig you wore that suits you the best was Kris. I was into straight styles this year. I bought Siena, Beverly Hills, Stay the Night and Locklan.Alluring Locks (way too dense) and my first ever Editor’s Pick! I also bought a couple of ISelfie Mode and bought others like Caliente 16 and Dalgona 16, Columbia, (love the Cafe styles so much from BelleTress) and Push’s Vivienne and one other from Push. JR Kris my favorite style was RW’s Day to Date but it was so difficult to care for. They made it with too much density. I also got another straight one Firenze. I hope to buy a new HH this year. Be well and enjoy the New Year. Sorry, I have carried on a bit. But most of these are because of your reviews, girl! Oh, I forgot I bought Beaming Beauty. I thought that might have made your list. But there were so many to choose from.

I am sans makeup today. Just SPF and lipstick. At least you have dark brows and lashes. Mine are blonde so today you can’t see mine! 👱🏻♀️
Somedays I wear foundation to even my skin tones. I do love my pixies on bare face days…. Though I wore Calabasas in Caramel Blonde R most this past year. And on days with no eye makeup I like to wear groovy reading glasses or sunglasses! 😊 btw, I love tubing mascara when I wear some. Super easy to remove and not irritating to my eyes.

As we get older, I'm 62, I dont have perfect skin, but I wear a tinted moisturizer, a touch of creme blush, and I put my curly brows under control and a bit of mascara. I see so many who pile on the foundation so thick and at any age it is awful. I don't wear eyeshadow often.

Taz, you are beautiful inside and out! I actually went to my local wig shop the other day to have them work on my JR January (thin it). I tried on JR Hollie and it was just not my color. I have a narrow color range and suspected that would be the case. I hope JR expands Hollie in additional colors. Happy New Year!

LOL! I really hear you about the makeup. I actually love makeup but it’s TIME CONSUMING! OMG! If I added up all the hours I’ve spent applying makeup I might be duly ashamed for not getting more productive things accomplished instead. I’ve been going with the bare minimum lately too. Although I still love it (especially eye shadow), I’m just choosing to spend my time elsewhere. 😅

FYI, how would you compare Alluring locks with Dalgona 16? Is it thicker?
Yes, AL is much much more dense compared to Dalgona. AL also doesn't have all the layering so that gives a heavier appearance also. XOXO
I don't really have a favorite for 2024. I have Jon Renau Stella Star in Martini, and though it works okay for me, I do not care for JR's heat friendly fibers. I have the discontinued TressAllure Shay in 1488, shortened in back and thinned. The only other wig I have besides an old, worn out RW Crowd Pleaser is JR January Hand Tied in Martini, but want to wear shorter styles than even that. I'm with you on less makeup, especially in my late 60's. I no longer wear traditional foundations in my late 60's though I am not likely to go out in public or film a video without a touch of *something* , maybe a light powder, mascara, blush and nude lip color. Kudos to you for freeing yourself from all that! God bless you and your family in 2025. ~Cyn

I am lost with the Belle Tress blond colors. I was a Champagne with Apple Pie person because it matched my natural hair. That was important because I like to pull some hair out above my ears and nape. I'm completely lost and paralyzed. I just purchased Spade in the color Burnt Biscuit Blond. I haven't received it yet.

Great picks! So, I still love regular synthetic fibers for durability. I’m sad to see every company make all their new releases in heat friendly fiber. Of course their fibers feel fine, light, and realistic, but they’re so fragile and don’t last.

I have pale, light colored eyelashes. Without liner and mascara I look like I have rabbit eyes. So eye makeup is a must since I was 16 yrs.😂
Lol..I got a chuckle from your "rabbit eyes" comment.. my mom is the same, she is a natural blonde and has no color in her eyelashes or brows. I'm lucky to have darker colored brows, but my eyelashes are so fine they're hard to see without mascara.
All means no makeup but eye makeup is different. Little liner is all anyone needs.
