When I started watching I had serious doubts about how well it was going to clean up. No reflection on you just that it was in such bad shape. Your techniques worked out very well and the end results were great. Did you do any type of polishing the paint? Personally this is the type of job that either I have to change extra or walk away from. Especially since I dislike doing interiors. Kudos to you and the Mrs. job well done 👍✌️🇺🇸
When we first see jobs like this we have doubts ourselves!😭 But we have done so many like this before we pretty much know what to expect, we have to just get on with it and muscle through it. 95% of the time they come out great. I did a test spot to see what would happen and it would have polished up great! But thats not what the customer was paying for...Hopefully next time they will want it polished.
To bad they didn't want it polished as I am sure you would have done a nice job. Thanks for the video I enjoyed watching it and always look for tips and techniques to steal 😜
I deal with moss and algae a lot here in the NW and starting using Rage to pretreat the jams, grill, wheel wells etc. So far I love it, requires little to no agitation. Curious if you used it, thoughts?
Thanks team Miranda! I’ll watch this video again it’s packed with so much info and refer back to it in the future. I like that you show the products you use as opposed to others who promote the latest new great product. Of course I’ll go to Car Guy Supplies. Like to see a short vid explaining the different APC you use for different purposes
Great work! How did you know it was single stage paint? I didn’t think any somewhat modern cars used that anymore? I did an older Toyota last week (maybe 2003?) that had a trashed exterior and it was super tacky and grabby when I washed it. Wonder if it was similar?
Thanks. The white non pearl paints on the Honda’s and Toyota vehicles in a certain year range they didn’t clear coat fir some reason. They fade very quickly and when you wax or polish the paint the white comes off on the paint. Like it’s chalky.
Great job you guys with this disaster detai! One question: wouldn't have been easier to remove the seats from the car, in order to access all areas of the carpet?
Thanks. Maybe...easier I guess for getting al those areas but harder becasue it involves more work removing and installing seats that may have difficult bolts. It’s more of a liability for us to reschedule no one seats. That’s why we don’t. If the customer requests it then we will do that for an additional charge and they have to sign our terms and agreement form. Most of our customer don’t want to pay for that level of service anyway. 😎👍🏼
That was an amazing job! Especially in the cold. Can I ask how long that took? By myself I’ve been averaging right around 5-6 hrs for wash, correction if needed, wax/sealant, dressings etc. full interior and basic engine bay, nothing too fancy. I checked in the replies and didn’t see a time? Also what drill brushes do you recommend for carpet? If I understand correctly they need to be soft? I checked your amazon link but didn’t see any for auto? Sorry so many questions.
Hi. We took out time since it was raining on and off. It took about 4-5 hours. But usually without filming it about 3. Here’s a link to the white drill brush we used. It’s pretty gentle in fabrics. amzn.to/39i7k26 😎👍🏼
First off great transformation! I envy your interior work. Im sure it wasn't in the customer's budget but d300 on a urofiber 50/50 works wonders on toyotas super white 😉.
That’s all good man!! I wish I could have steady work week in and week out...mobile detailing is very feast or famine. I mean don’t get me wrong it pays the bills and then some...but like we are having this week..RAIN RAIN RAIN....it stinks!! So I hope to fill in the void with RUclips videos and revenue from that.
Well...funny you should mention that... I just got one... However my hoover pet hair vacuum attachment is still my favorite for faster work. but the Lily brush is great for tighter areas.
Mister kitty loves his special attention, I can tell phil you and you're wife spoil mister kitty, he's very lucky to have good hoomans who love furbabies!
Phil this video is GREAT i really like it................. Are you sure that is a single stage paint??? i thought that you coulndt find cars with single stage painmt later than mid 90s!!!
Thanks. Oh yes. Both Honda and Toyota still use single stage white paint. If it doesn’t have pearl in it, it will usually be single stage. It fades and when I polish it white comes off on the pads. It’s so annoying.
@@MirandaDetailing i havent seen that in Tooyta /Honda in europe for meny decats doing that!!! maybe the cars for the US market have different paint jobs than other World aerias
I actually don’t advertise that much at all. Mostly our website is what gets a lot of attention here. And also our RUclips channel is like advertising. Do you have a website?
tag-team VO -- 😎😎. That was one manky car, job well done, especially the seats and carpet cleaning! Bet customer was pleased with the results. If in doubt use every chemical in the arsenal, good motto to have, it has served me well. 😂 #mister
Excellent, I'm glad that Jessica is getting her "voice".

My husband and I love your videos! So satisfying and fun to watch. Great job guys!!!!
Thanks!! We enjoy making them! 😎👍🏼
Love the teamwork you guys are doing.

Fantastic transformation
The engine bay was the cleanest part of the car. Usually its the opposite, lol.
Nice work! The car and the video
I know right?! 🤣. Thanks!
Would like to know if there is a water nozzle like yours for a garden hose?

Great job guys and excellent quality video! Was definitely satisfying to watch.

Hello sir great videos what size water tank does your trailer hold? How many gallons do you use per car? Thank you sir
Hi. Thanks! It’s 65gallons. We only use about 10-20 gallons per vehicle depending on the size and condition.
@@MirandaDetailing Thank you for the info

Hi there... What kind of a setup or compressor do you use ? Capacity ? Power (PSI) ? etc...
Hi. It’s a McGraw 8 Gallon compressor. Here are the specs. www.harborfreight.com/8-gallon-15-hp-150-psi-oil-free-portable-air-compressor-64294.html

Nice job there! Keep on detailing!
You can try using a wet/dry vacuum for the steam so you can see what your doing better when using the steamer
I do that sometimes. But I don’t want to much Moisture in the nozzle. It gunks it’s up as I’m cleaning.
Great job dude!
Huge transformation, nice 👍
Nice work guys!

Thanks!!😎👍🏼
Amazing video mate , would be good to see them 50/50 at the end of before and after if possible !
Thanks!! Good idea! I used to do that. Ill start doing that again!!

great vid! new to the channel! what product did you use in the foam sprayed when cleaning the wheels?
Thanks!! Super Clean diluted 4:1. Its awesome stuff!

Thanks! Yes it would...In fact i actually did a test spot with 3D Speed and orange lake country pad and it looked great.
Watching these always makes me wish detailing could work for me and be a career :/ oh well lost dreams. But I love being a weekend warrior

Tiny tip, super clean works in a foam cannon. Still cuts through grime after being diluted by the pressure washer
Oh yes. I’ve done that before! Pretty cool!
Dear kitten...detailing 101 😸
That would be awesome to do a dear kitten voice over! 🤣
Cool video. She's a good narrator too👍
Thanks!!😎👍🏼
love the video keep doing your thing be safe
Thanks! 😎👍🏼
Miranda Detailing your welcome
My kitty suzie is seriously his twin! It's crazy they look exactly alike 😸
Cool!! Maybe they are long lost siblings! We rescued him from an apartment. He was left behind.
You should use the lily brush insted that little bush for any pet hair.
Well...funny you should mention that... I just got one... However my hoover pet hair vacuum attachment is still my favorite for faster work. but the Lily brush is great for tighter areas.

Awesome video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 just did a vids on a dirty truck
Thanks! I’ll watch it!
Did you pick up spray nine on my recommendation?
Well I saw it years ago but never tried it. So I figured I’d give it a try
Miranda Detailing I’ve found that if you use it on fabric or carpet, dilute it 1:3 and use more. It foams up pretty good
im satisfied !

I subed due to my name is Miranda lol. Love the vid as well
😎👍🏼 awesome. Thanks!
Hey I M new nice video
Thanks!
Why didn’t you pull the seats
Way to risky...I will only pull out seats if the customer requested it and pays for it. It’s not needed all the time.
Hard to believe such a new car can look so bad... My vote... Just pressure wash it... 5000 psi! Nothing to loose on this car! 😆
🤣 I know right?!
A detailer on YT using compressed air to their advantage? I may faint.
Yup! Its what we detailers use!😎👍🏼
they have it as an ornament under a tree 🙀
🤣I guess so!
ohhhhhh myyyyyyy
Awww yis.
Oh yeah give Mister a belly rub for me
😁
what kind of cat is that?
Mister’s a Maine Coon.
What did you charge for this😂😂
I think it was $275
Miranda Detailing I would’ve thought much more than that
Good job but at 27:57 you threw the dirty water with the chemicals in nature .... not good.. :-)
By EPA standards that’s what I’m supposed to do. It states pouring water into nearby grass area because it does filter it.
That cat came to inspect
Yup!!! Mister in my inspector!
Wow
