Oooo that is interesting, u did know you get slightly different cutscenes depending on the order but I always do the Undead Church first, will definitely have to try this on my next playthrough!
I think the other NPC inside the golden crystal golem is Siegmeyer's daughter, Sieglinde, and not Siegmeyer himself. They've got the exact same armour so it can be confusing.
At the time of recording i had brain fart and said the wrong name, you are 100% correct the NPC inside the golden golem is indeed Sieglinde, and not her father Siegmeyer!
@@libralonix Pretty good list, though. It always surprises me that people keep finding secrets and hidden details 12-13 years after the game's original release.
As a committed dark souls fan, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there were some of these I didn't already know! I had no idea you could get 5 centipede tails, or the white summon gwyndolyn thing, but the connection between the defeat of the dragons and the resin is brilliant! Great video!

Ah, you are 100% correct regarding it being Sieglinde and not her father Siegmeyer in the Dukes Archive Golden Crystal Golum, this was just my aged brain letting me down once again!
Dark Souls really is the gift that keeps on giving! I actually didn't know a couple of these! I didn't know you could pass back through the fog gate in Seath's arena, or that you could see the captives being held by the golden crystal golems! I also didn't know about that Ceaseless Discharge skip! The creativity is just brimming from Fromsoft!
100% agree with you! And this is one of the reason why i love making these videos. You can be brand new to the series or a 10 year veteran and there are still things to learn. ARPG is a genre I wouldn't have touched with a 10 foot barge pole as a kid, and thanks to FromSoftware it's now one of my favourite genres and game series!
@@libralonix Same here. I started with Dark Souls (The Prepare To Die edition no less) and after hours of retraining my brain from other hack n slash games, it finally clicked and I fell in love. It was quite the surprise to me too when i first found out, its not very often you run through ash lake while looking behind, so most of the time you will hear it but not see it! I always assumed the hydra went through some "tunnel" to get to each side!
Quickly tapping LB, RB, LB, and RB also reduces dmg from most grab attacks in the game not just the Mimic one. Nice list did not know about the abyss one or the ring of Sacrifice bloodstain one.
@@libralonixyou can not get grabbed at all. First off you can tell which is a mimic and which isn’t by the chain on the side. A chain with the loop ending out is a mimic, curled in is not. Also if it is a mimic throwing a Lloyds talisman at it will cause it to sleep and give up the goods

That is a really cool bit of lore about Pinwheel, i really need to do a deep dive on the lore at some point. Such an interesting game when you start to look into it!
If you defend attacks from giant enemies with a shield, you are thrown back doing a somersault and landing on your feet, one that does this is the Taurus Demon, I thought it was really cool
I actually discovered this recently while testing some shields out against Taurus demon, never tried to block against him before as i always figured it was a death wish! Definitely going to add this one to my next "secrets" video
I knew most of those, but did you know the strategy to kill Kalameet without Gough's help you've told in video is really outdated? The most recent strategy is faster, safer (possible no hit) and can be done with melee weapon.
Colour me intrigued...... I know of the method utilising sorcery, but I wasn't aware of a way to do this with melee. How would that even work given that Kalameet is in the air the whole time? Feel free to drop any relevant links for videos showing this method!
@@Barendol So the footage in this video predominantly showcases the sorcery (ranged) strat. There is one very short clip where they are wielding a melee weapon but the footage doesn't actually show an attack with this weapon making contact and damage being taken (even if the commentator says thats whats happening, we need to be able to see it happen preferably multiple times), it does interest me though that they are claiming the hitbox for the tail comes down far enough to the ground to melee attack it, its definitely worth testing more. I really appreciate you taking the time to look this up, but as it stands i still don't see any evidence of actually being able to melee attack Kalameet, let alone it being a quicker method than either the strat in my video or the sorcery strat.

This in no way is me inferring your not telling the truth, but is there any chance you may be able to record this interaction please, as this is not how this is supposed to work.
