New brushes usually have a overcoat of setting spray to help them maintain their perfect shape. You would need to wash them before using them. I bet that was the issue with the eyeshadow. I freaking LOVE this pallet! It's gorgeous! I use the top left color, bottom right color, and the shimmer named Crystal. It's so pretty! Such a great formula. And very simple.
I have Desert Monsoon and I'm buying this one as soon as I'm able. I don't usually go for the neutral crease colors but I love most shadows made in Italy so I took a chance and they totally blew me away. The mattes practically blend themselves and omg the shimmers are just exquisite! The super sparkly ones are my favorite and this palette has even more in that formula, and I like the colors even more. Love the addition of a yellow and khaki green matte too. Can't wait to get one! Try the palette again once you've washed the brushes or with your Rephrs and you'll truly see how wonderful this brand is!

I wish! Living in Alaska, no one here can order flammable items and have them deliver through the mail, perfumes, nail polish, fireworks. If you want nail polish, you have to purchase from the local stores only.
I didn't know. How exciting! Every time I tried ordering perfume or nail polish I had to dump it out of my shopping carts. Otherwise I couldn't place my orders. This is so cool! 🌼
Being from Australia, we don't always hear of small Indie Brands from overseas but luckily for Channels such as yours reviewing them, we do get to see them. The shades from the eye palette spoke to me straightaway but the fact that the nail polishes matched these shades really appealed to me. If I'm able to purchase these from Australia, I'll definitely be on the lookout. Just so you're aware, Miss Dior came out with a face palette earlier this year that included a nail varnish in it which was quite unusual to see.💖💐🕊

I just bought the two Riviera Quints plus the two Satin Lip Balms. I couldn't help myself! I do love Indie Brands also and now have seven palettes from Lethal Cosmetics! Definitely team 2 but both were lovely and the palette looks great. My favourite brushes right now are the Blend Bunny set - they're lovely and small and I'm enjoying them a lot. I would definitely like to try these though:)
This looks like a cute palette for a midtone, Spring look. I like how a lot of the pastel colors are in the shimmers. Makes very simple to change up the look w the "matte base + shimmer topper" kind of formula. The looks also aren't only pastel w the midtone mattes (vs only pastel mattes). It's a surprisingly unique and pleasant color story.

Hi beautiful, I use Kiara sky dip powder at home & it is a great brand. The nail polishes from Geodes look nice & I love the packaging of the palette. I’m a huge fan of Rephr brushes so that is awesome they are softer. Look 1 is very pretty. That green shimmer is stunning & I love the matching nail polishes. Both looks are gorgeous but I love the second one. Oh okay. I will switch with my Rephr brushes but the palette is beautiful. FW & have a great day

You hit the nail on the head when you said "I haven't washed them" - any new brush needs to be cleaned before use, 😉. The palette is gorgeous, I just wish I could wear shimmers. I love unusual shades of mattes and the one you used as a transition on the 2nd look has an interesting grungy hue - gorgeous shade. Definitely not picking a fave look, I can't! As a small indie brand, they've probably eaten into their profits by sending out PR - which is the cheapest and most efficient method of advertising. Obviously, they need/want to sell more units and get their brand name/products known. The old saying "speculate to accumulate" comes into play here and they've possibly taken a huge gamble in sending out PR. Getting a discount isn't mandatory, nice but not mandatory. Perhaps, as they grow, they will be able to afford to offer their products at a discounted rate for a short period. Small businesses have an incredibly hard time trying to absorb any losses, especially with a new launch.

I used the palette yesterday and found the mattes very hard to work with as well and my brushes were broken in. I just think its a fussy formula. I did not like my makeup look, which never happens to me, and will likely pass it along and not order from them again. I found the shimmers a bit tricky too. I’ll stick with Adept and others.
I was crazy tempted to buy this palette but think I’m going to pass. It’l has a beautiful packaging and the color story is amazing, but my collection is just too big to not be picky these days. Thank you for your thorough review always!
