I don't think there ever was a patch note that for me topped "Sims will now flee the building they're in when there's a meteor strike, unless it is a school, in which schoolchildren are not allowed to leave and will always die." I know it's the old famous one, but it's just so good.

I’m fairly certain that it’s the same patch that had “become enemies with child no longer appears” that Karina drew. It’s almost like the devs said “you can’t hope to become enemies with a child, but we will make sure a child dies if a meteorite hits their school”
Who could forget the Stardew Valley patch that: “No longer violates the Geneva Convention.”

The Sims 3 was a paradise for hilarious patch notes. Some of my favs I remember were:
"The Grim Reaper will no longer be prevented from reaping souls due to band affiliation"
"Pianists will no longer continue playing pianos that have been detonated."
"Sims who are on fire will no longer be forced to attend graduation before they can put themselves out."
"Sims will no longer receive a wish to "Skinny Dip" with Mummies."
"The magical laundry bear Abracadabra will no longer block Sims from moving after disappearing"
"Fixed a tuning issue so that Sims now vomit at acceptable levels"'
"When using the Fire Pit, Sims can no longer roast and eat horse fertilizer"
The patch notes for Dwarf Fortress are also a riot.
My favorite is the one about children dying if a meteor hits the school. Can't remember the exact phrasing, but the way it's worded is so funny to me
Edit: another favorite of mine is "children and teens will no longer die from motive failure while on Time Out"

Oh, with the "ghosts will no longer call you fiveISH times a day" one in Sims 4...even better: They'll not only call you to come do a fun activity in town right after they died like nothing happened, sometimes they'll call and ask you to do EXACTLY WHAT OOFED THEM.
I know that's probably random, but having a ghost who just _died from embarrassment_ literally call another Sim five minutes later and be like "Hey, let's go to the comedy festival Downtown and embarrass ourselves!" is just MAGICAL. XD
Speaking of Sims, that entire franchise is a GOLDMINE of wtf glitches and patch notes that would make the funniest pictures ever. Sims 3, especially.

You don't need to be possesed by the spirit of Merobiba to want to do that. Children are little monsters, that don't have the part of the brain that is needed for empathy developed yet, just like psypaths. If there weren't consequences, they'd punch you too.

As a child, I WAS actually dropped off at the vet when my parents had shit to do. It was great.
I should probably add the context that my big sister (in her 30s when I was a little kid) was a vet assistant. She worked there and I was allowed to hang out there. I would spend the day in the animal cages and the little rooms where they keep the sick animals who have to stay there. I'd play with the newborn kittens (there was always a fresh litter of kittens in there) and try to tame the grisly old cats who didn't like people. I'd hang out with peoples dogs sometimes.
But I just realized that often my sister was working in the surgery room and stuff and I was alone and would maybe see her once for a few minutes each day... So... Literally when I was a kid, I was dropped off at the vet, and locked in a cage with some animals for the day lol. Literally they'd lock me in the cages (about the width and height of a kitchen table? So not tiny but I couldn't stand up or anything.) And leave me there for the day.
It was great, I loved it. It was my favourite thing ever. Just haven't thought about it for a while lol.
One of my all-time favorite patch notes is from Outer Wilds, the DLC I think: "A certain elevator now kills the player more reliably."

@@justaskeleton9087 There was a trophy/achievement for dying by elevator. The best way to do it was in the Stranger, on the Cliffside village area, but players tended to just get squeezed/pushed out, as opposed to crushed. The patch made the kill box underneath easier to hit, if I remember right.

So I got a patch not for Dead by Daylight. It was something along the lines of "Fixed an issue involving the Executioner's rear to be too flat" The context being Pyramid Head, also named the Executioner in game used to have a massive dumper on his release, which the devs removed. The fans paid respect to his booty so the devs gave it back
Fun fact: during Georgian era boxing people did pretty much take turns punching each other. It was considered revolutionary when a dude started to actually avoid his opponents punches instead of just taking it and punching back 😂

In case anyone actually cares:
In Dwarf Fortress, all the dwarves have mental health and moods based on things that happen to them in their daily life. If their mood gets too low and they are too unhappy, they'll have a sort of mental break called a tantrum. These tantrums can manifest in various ways, but they're often violent or destructive. A "tantrum spiral" occurs when one person snaps, then commits actions that make other dwarves unhappy enough that they also snap, which causes them to commit actions that make other dwarves unhappy enough that they snap, and so on and so on. It generally only happens with poor management where most of your dwarves are already teetering on the edge of breaking. But that is what a tantrum spiral is: Its basically a chain reaction where one tantrum sets off many, many more tantrums and because of the violent and destructive nature of tantrums, it can result in massive amounts of damage to your fortress, injuries, and deaths.
As for the second Dwarf Fortress patch note: Crime is not omnisciently reported or obvious. When someone sees a crime committed, they basically go to the captain of the guard and reports what they saw. They will accuse a person of doing something. So if a fist fight breaks out in a tavern full of people, the captain will get lots of reports about the crime from lots of witnesses. The thing is, people lie. Sometimes they're the guilty person and want to deflect blame off of themselves. Sometimes they just really hate somebody and want to pin a crime on them to get them punished. I think sometimes they just like lying? Anyway, you'll have a list of like 5 different people being accused, but the overwhelming majority of witnesses will all say the same person is guilty and thats basically how you know who to punish because most of them will be telling the truth. But if a crime is NOT witnesses by a large group, you'll get only like one or two witnesses, or sometimes no witnesses at all, and it makes it much harder to determine who is guilty. Now when it comes to vampires, they will periodically drain blood from people who are asleep and most of the time they take so much blood that the person will die. Sometimes these vampires will report having witnessed an attack and pin the blame on another person. And sometimes they'd blame babies for killing people that they had killed themselves. There are lots of cheesey ways to identify vampires in your fortress, but one of the best legit ways is see who routinely reports vampire attacks because odds are that guy is the vampire, especially if he accuses different people every time.
There really could be another entire episode dedicated to patch notes from the Sims. It's a treasure trove!

Suggestion: in many animal species, the males put on colorful show to draw in the female. Many birds, like the superb bird of paradise, carolina parotia, costa’s hummingbird (aka squidface), or the greater sage-grouse, flash their plumage but also mudskippers, smooth newts, and peacock spiders put on a beautiful (and hilarious) display to attract mates. I’d love to see the Drawfee crew take these creatures looking for love and turn them into humans.

My favorite is still the sims 3 one: A meteor can hit a building, which case everyone will run out before the collision. Those who do not exit the building will die. Sims automatically leave if a meteor is approaching, unless it is a school, in which children are not allowed to leave and will always die.

Yeah except instead of choosing they ended up combining so I'm not sure it's actually easier. But I still liked it better that way
The "wishes" were basically things your sims would randomly think up and want to do.
Eat some cereal and suddenly you get a notification that your sim wants to become an enemy with a child. They'd go away if you don't do them but you could choose to save some and do them eventually.
Or if you're me, save them then procrastinate on it until I just decide to delete them to make room for new wishes I either do or don't fulfill.
So like the life goals you can assign sims, but they just appear randomly?

Little thoughts that if you do them you get happiness points to get extra traits and rewards.
Sometimes you'll get ones randomly based on your sim's personality or skills. Other times it'll be related to needs or current actions. And some will pop up related to careers.

Actually, the boxing glove injuries also come from the gloves adding a surprising amount of mass to each punch. An extra pound or two doesnt sound like a lot, but when its located at the very tip of the punch, it ends up with a lot more kinetic energy.
I think that this might be the best episode ever holy shit, I was non stop laughing HOW WAS EVERYONE SO CONSISTENTLY ONE UPPING EACH OTHER. The tomfoolery getting so hard at the end that got Julia questioning her drawing skills

About the slap contests: when I was 14 at a church camp, I wasn't very popular . There was this dude who was bragging to everyone how he won all the slap contests, and challenging all the other teens in his group. They were slapping the backs of the hands, I think that's how it was allowed to keep going on. I walked to him like hey can I also try? I was very short, probably wearing silly overalls and he laughed at me and asked me if I was sure. I hit him once or twice so hard he surrendered immediately. No one clapped but I did gain a tiny bit of respect and one of my favorite stories lol
