Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng are fast emerging as the dominant force in Cambodian football on the back of winning the domestic double last season.
Now the ambitious club have their sights set on success on the continent in both the ASEAN Club Championship and AFC Challenge League.

Is there any chance that Svay Rieng can play home games in ASEAN or AFC competitions in Svay Rieng. This would be so much better for their development than playing in Phnom Penh.
Since my visit in 2018, I am pleased to hear that Cambodia has made a lot of progress in moving the game out to the provinces, with Svay Rieng being one of the clubs leading the way.
We have seen how important this was in bringing the Thai leagues up to their current standard. It would be great to see Cambodia follow suit.
