Your mum is secretly very proud of you. There is this thing within Asian families to not over praise so you don’t become too big headed and arrogant. Unfortunately what usually happens as in the case with my own kids, is it has veered over to such an extreme that you do not give any praise at all but keep it all inside you. However I bet she will be telling all her relatives how good you really are. Also, you may find the place you grew up to be boring, but it looks like a great tranquil place to be to be creative and write songs. Many congrats to your contemporary Maisie Peters, who is going to release her debut album with Gingerbread Man Records. It would be great if you could go down that route and do a collab on a song with Ed Sheeran, and maybe, one day he could also become your mentor as well. Good luck, let’s hope Black hole can get silver Brit certified.

Can't imagine how lonely and chaotic it would have been growing up...but still she's so genuine, humble, polite and talented. She and her family basically radiate nice warm energy all in all.
