I wasn’t a fan either the only power metal bands I like are Queensryche and LOVEBITES
However my wonderful friend if you take the deep unique vocals out of industrial the music is completely metal . The last band you played Muerschwag I think
Was complete metal instrumentally but they had that cool , disturbing German cadence
Remember Heavy Netal us an attitude whether it’s goth , industrial , doom , punk , power , nu metal or whatever the genre it’s all fuck your attitude , s tee the man , hard heavy instrumentation and great vocals .
Not saying you have to like all metal
But you don’t hate all metal !
