yea u r right.. ktm300 is a monster.. 4t are definitely the best on tracks, but sometimes, i think i could be more speedy in the wood with a 4t, especially goin' down.. with the engine-brake i always throttle like a fool..(when i tried my friends ktm250/4t)!!
Always keep trying. He finally won a 250SX Main Event (Atlanta 2017). Never quit (just ask Martin Davalos). Both were in the 250 class for a million years.
what kind of question is that? if you know enough about motocross to notice the "torque" pull... then u should be able to tell if its a 2 or 4 stroke instantly... 4 strokes have more overall torque than 2 stkers anyway, 2 strkers are dying out... although ill never forget how fun they were to ride back in the 80's and 90's.... long live cool

And watchin people on the tracks, in the wood, i see that damn guys fly like hell... i have a kx and a cr, both 250 2 strokes... and i cant open like em.... Wich kind of bike do u have?
I have an RMZ450 (09) it is very fast, actually too fast in tight woods! I am going to sell it, since I just broke my knee and tore all the ligaments....next bike will either be a Harley or the KTM300.

only the factory's can real no if 4 stokes are faster than 2 stokes with all the mods and every thing you can do to both of them its all most impossible to tell.
well... less power of 4strokes, gives u more possibilities...well, i mean: 2strokes give u hp quickly and with less control... 4strokes are progessives, still powerful (doublesizing Cc), and more "reliable"... SO: in the track, u r faster with a 4s than a 2s... cauz u can "open" as well.. ps: i have two 250cc 2STROKES eheh...

i ride on enduro, not cross... and i can assure u that i see a lot of 2T more than 4t in the wood... so.. I m not so sure th 4t kills 2t...
