Z make the tier 2 harvester before the drill you will just waste time and make a mess because the iron harvester can't grind the tier 2 dirt instead it just spits it around.
For the logic, you can use an A=B t-connector and an input pad to set the level you want it to trigger at as well. I have mine set to 01 so when the durability of the filter drops to 1, it’ll throw a wrench. You’ll use a LOT less that way and almost double the amount of time you’ll get from 1 wrench. Edit: put the A=B in between the observer and the number pad input with the output of A=B facing into the dispenser. Set numpad to 01 and hit enter. Then when A (observer) equals the same as B (numpad that was set to 01) it’ll send an output of 1 to the dispenser which will dispense one wrench and fix the filter.
Everyone always grabs the T2 drill first and then finds out you can't process T2 dirt with the T1 harvester... :) I'm sure someone has mentioned this before, you can put the cart on the buy-pad and load it once instead of moving everything twice.
Always split the gold bar into 2 bars, heat it and make a necklace with a jewel. Super quick, simple, and the most efficient and effective way to make coin.
Z! Always love the videos, keep up the good work! Side note: Finish products give more coin, always, never every sell them at "stock market" tables, cause that effects the value at "jeweler" tables. So for the most bang for your coin would be the necklace and full sword, so when you have those large bars, take the saw for a try, also, the bigger gems effect the necklace too. Also also, if you want material faster, having higher water pressure makes everything faster! So intake booster you speed up your drills and conveyor belts, speeding up how much you are getting in shorter time periods. And "cloud" piping can handle even higher pressure which is faster mining! Lastly, life hack, put an other scale by the big anvil~ Huge huge help!
Dont forget the T2 Harvester. You can't break down T2 dirt in a T1 Harvester. Also, to make things faster, there is a FAST cart you can buy and if you put the cart directly on the buying platform it still works....less work moving things.
Good to see you got the Repair Logic System in place. I'd recommend placing at LEAST 10 Wrenches (2 bags) because there's no audible warning if they run out and working in your Sorting area, you won't see any problems until you come out. If you keep the Throwers topped up, your line will keep running, which is what you need. Probably a good idea to do a Conveyor patrol after any breakdown, because that seems to be when it occurs. Any downward height changes seem to be a common location (dropping off the current Mining Conveyor area onto the Transport area along the back wall, dropping into Funnels, dropping into the Harvester, etc) for clogs to occur. Sometimes it's one or two pieces that cause a whole belt to backup, but if it's bad enough, you'll want a Magnet on a Stick (MoS) to unclog it and then clean up the resulting "explosion" from the clog. At that time, you may want to turn the system off in order to clean up, as you want to use the MoS to place the Dirt Clumps directly onto the Conveyor. DO NOT put them in a Pan or Bucket (may be obvious to some, but not all). I think you'll want to get the T2 Harvester either at the same time as, or even BEFORE you get the T2 Miner, because a T1 Harvester may not be able to process T2 Dirt Clumps (I don't know, as I haven't gotten there yet. Still digging out my Icehelm mine...). The T2 Harvester requires 300 Iron and 100 Cloutium, so that MAY slow things down a bit...
Selling the gold as a bar was a mistake. The price increase on turning gold/jewels into jewelry is percentage based, so the higher your gold is worth, the higher the value increase you will get by turning into into jewelry. And yes you might never need such a ludicrous amount of cold hard cash but who's to say? ;)
Honestly, you can get a relatively large setup for like 300k total if you wanna have auto smelting, separate lines for T1 and T2 drilling, and full decorations for your mine. Getting an extra 20k from that gold bar is way overkill for where he's at in his progression IMO. That's one of my main issues with the game tbh -- you end up with SO MUCH MONEY once you get a semi-decent mine going. Playing the standard mode just feels like creative mode at a certain point, but you still need to go back to town to buy stuff and transport it all manually.
This is the problem of all games where the objetive is only being rich. In begining is slow if you dont have patience you quit, but at certain point you gain so much money that continue playing is pointless
Yeah, once my EC mine really started to produce, I left it running (with autorepair on the Filters) and relocated to Icehelm to dig it out. I came back every now and them and MIGHT have some cleanup from a clog. The value of the Gems I ran through the Compressor was decent and I had a good Gold supply, but I'd find the most valuable Compressed Gem, put it in a Pan, pour a Gold Bar, slice the Gold Bar in half, place THOSE in the same Pan (mostly just to keep things together), heat it in a Brazer, place the whole Pan on the Anvil, and hit it with the Blacksmith Hammer. Then I'd place the other Compressed Gems in the pan *WITHOUT* touching the necklace, pick up the Pan and take it to the Jeweler. I'd EASILY get between 40k to 60+k Hc for that supply and I currently have over 200k sitting at the "Purchase Desk" in Icehelm. Still digging that out, but I've made some decent progress (I can only handle that monotony for about an hour or two before I need to do something - ANYTHING - else), but it takes time to finish. I'm running Icehelm fully with Cloutium Pipes, so that'll speed things up and I already built my T2 Harvester...
The clout pipes lose less pressure over time so using an iron intake with them is negligible at best, since they aren’t losing like 3 a pipe. The clout intake does give more juice to the system overall.
Just put all the items you want to buy in the cart and put the cart over the buying area so you don't have to double handle the items. Also you can hold (E) key to hold items further out like the spanners to put it the auto repair system and when you enter the game delete all the dirt and raw resources (in pause menu) because they get stuck when you leave and come back into the save.
Park your cart on the buy zone of the shop and drop item to buy into it so you don't have to load everything twice.. Or better yet, put the cart near what you want to buy, and place yourself so you can spam E(pickup key) and pick and drop everything int he cart, then move it to the buy zone, and buy it all in 1 go. Saves SOO much time for mass buying. Oh and t2 dirt vs t1 dirt in that mine is 4.5 vs 3 ish in weight.(at their highest spots)
forget the iron pump boosters...just use the high pressure intake...it doesn't cause any problem (extra pressure bleeds off) and you get the same max iron pressure. Also getting the T2 harvester allows you to shovel onto the belt with T2 dirt. You can manually keep up with 5-10 drills depending on the circumstance. Quick way to get lots of cloutium in a short time to get more t2 drills built.
You could also get logic smelter to make things easier and centre attachments for conveyor belt so all dirt is aligned to centre conveyor you don’t need funnel on the end
due to the fact that the pressure tanks mimic the outcome of the intake u can put a clautium intake have a couple of iron pipes and then a clautium pressure tank followed by clautium pipes... with that technique u can have a way higher pressure in ur pipe system than usually without having to redo everything with clautium
T-2 dirt needs a T-2 Harvester to process. you need to sort your supplies and stage them for easy verification of what you have at hand. you need to add a Logic controller to set the minimum value the sensors need to activate the repair function.
Since you have so much money, it might not be a bad idea to start replacing all the iron pipes with cloutium pipes just to get ahead of the curve. Also, like someone else mentioned, you're going to need the Tier 2 harvester to use the dirt from the Tier 2 drills.
@Z1_gaming you need to get a Magnifying Glass it will show you the damage and other info that is helpful you also are hitting small piece of dirt causing things not to be placed. you may want to look into Centraliser Hook it will make everything go down the middle of the conveyor belts
Use this same logic design now on my own game, a full 20 will last that first filter *that breaks the most often* for about 9ish hours of gametime, perhaps just a little more.
I was a little surprised that one hook was enough to make a working auto repair. I figured the best design used a keypad and some > bits to have it trigger when it hits below a certain number and it doesn't hit the breaking point.
It doesn't work properly, every time the durability changes to 99% it uses a wrench. It's better than it should be with that setup which would use a wrench every 2 seconds if it did what the wiki says those components do. The sensor sends a numeric signal every second, the flip flop switches from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0 every time a signal is received, and the auto-repair repairs every time a 1 is received. It should be chewing through those wrenches in seconds. But instead, the entire system is broken enough to only do it when the sensor sends a changed number (99%).
its better to use a cart. really quick to stand on the cart and select items in the store. Drops them right in the cart, then you move the cart on the sell point, bang, ton of stuff bought moving it minimally.

You need the T2 harvester. The T2 drill gets bigger dirt chunk's.
What about putting that thing that centers stuff on a belt before heading up the chain? Would that stop the pile up of dirt before that first funnel?
Z Just a heads up you are going to need the t2 harvester for the t2 dirt.
Put a Centralizer hook on your belt to move those 2 lines of material into 1 in the center of your belt so they don't clog like that...
Don't be scared to put clouthium intake on iron pipes, nothing will brake and advantage is that belts goes much faster
The pipe hissing from the pressure loss can get annoying, so just turn down pipe sounds.

I think you can install multiple filters on the same pipe so you technically need only one logic
Putting multiple filters on one pipe can interfere with the logic systems because they each have their own durability.
