This had to be a promo for the show AFTER it was originally aired in the 60's and when Bruce Lee became a martial arts legend. When the show aired during the 60's , no way would they give Lee top billing over Van Williams.
I and many others want The Green Hornet released on DVD and/or Blu ray disc. Contact Fox Home Entertainment President Mike Dunn, at the following address: Mike Dunn, President 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment 2121 Avenue of the Stars, 10th Floor Los Angeles, CA 90067
I have the hard cover, illustrated Green Hornet anthology, complete with Van Williams signature, and photo of him and Kato, with Kato throwing a side-kick.
Still waiting for some Top-notch production group to create a Green Hornet movie that does it JUSTICE! Probably hasn't happened because there is not One man who can fill Bruce Lee's shoes.
@srb9: Um, no, not silly. See, the people advertising this had two choices: get people to watch, or throw the views away. If you want people to watch, then perhaps it would be smarter to focus on the international superstar who influenced media for generations to come rather than someone who 90% of the population doesn't know. You do understand that Bruce got the most G.Hornet fan-mail and was always the focus of the audience's attention, right? Kids don't have Van Williams posters....
This show needs a DVD and Blu ray release!
@mocrg besides the trailer, what beautiful quality ! i hope it will look this great when it's released on DVD. restored to modern picture quality.****
KATO IS NO SIDEKICK, KATO IS BRUCE LEE. HE WAS THE WORLD'S MOST DANGEROUS MAN!!!
Oh YAY, someone else who collected the trading cards! All my friends were busy with Batman and James Bond... Can't wait for the DVD!!
Hells yeah!!!
The Green Hornet, Van Williams, is the main character-Kato was his sidekick. Silly to give Bruce Lee top billing in this TV promo.

Classic anime
Nice trailer
The guy in the red devil suit must've been Bloodnofsky.
The Green Hornet was Starting by Van Williams and Bruce Lee, no the other way. Bruce Lee became a Star after his death and that is a fact.
@WarriorBoy no kids didn't have Van Williams posters, WOMEN did.
@ZAGGLETON: It sure is silly to give top billing to an international icon who influenced pop culture for the next 35-odd some years.
@WarriorBoy On the series "star trek" it seems like the vulcan is the sidekick, doesn't it?
Well will they show the green hornet on the Hub?
@WarriorBoy, ZAGGLETON isa right. It is silly to give top billing retroactively to someone who became a legend by dying.
Was the guy in the devil costume supposed to be Bloodnofsky, the villain from the movie?

Yes, Warrior Boy. It sure is. Signed Zaggleton, the Pacifist Boy.
Did he just say Punch Lee?
Giving Brice Lee top billing???? 🙄
...what does that have to do with anything??
Yeah and take it from a martial artist; he had to take it down a notch, several in fact. lol.
Ass kickery. Bruce Lee style.
