I loved this video, so inspiring to clean up my scraps and cut them into quickly usable sizes! I would love to see your bookmark tutorial and card tutorial!
I’d love to see what projects you create with those last scraps!! It’s such pretty paper, it’s hard to get rid of even the smallest pieces!! I’ll be on the look out.
Thank you so much for showing me this, it made me get off my bottom and organize my scraps, I love this. I also am enjoying your you tube channel I have only just found you. thank you very much cheers from Australia. 👍😀
I sit on the edge of my chair waiting for your videos! I just love them...I'm organized with my scraps how I keep them, but you got me motivated to go through them and clean them up. And I am finally giving myself permission to throw stupid pieces away! Like I'm going to really use them, seriously 😬. So far I've gone through half the bags (there are a lot!) And I'll finish up later this week. It feels so good knowing everything in my bags are actual usuable pieces! Thank you!
Thank you for this tutorial... You give us great ideas for using them! I always find my scraps so out of place and watching you organize, I can do the same! 😊
Just now watched this one. Such a great video. Thanks for all you do! Also, I am so jealous that you can cut in such a straight line! 😆 I cut like a first grader! Lol
I saw this us just started doing it today! Love the idea with the bags. I have a bunch of sizes thanks to you talking bout Clear Bags. 😊 learned so much from you, Amber, and cant wait to see what you come up with next! 💖💖
Loved this video so much I spent Sunday and Monday working on my stash of old stuff...and I'll be anxious to do this to dedicated kits/lines as I work with them. Now, I watched the tutorial on the file folders at the end, and the original file folder video and was very inspired to give it a try...now I'm wondering, what makes our cardstock crack? So disappointed when that happens! Is there a way to avoid it?
Thank you, I love your videos💖. Just a thought using your scraps to create card kits might be cute idea to sell or donate for preteens. I’m sure they would love the creative outlet while in quarantine😊
I have to say that after watching this it reminds me of what I do with my fabric when I crumb quilt. Has anyone done "crumb quilting " with their paper stash?
This works great for "collections" of similar papers, but what do we do with a big box of scraps from MANY different collections that really don't match??? I've been keeping my scraps from each paper pad, with the pad, but then I never can see it all and don't really know what I have, so it just sits there unused. I would like to combine ALL my scraps somehow... maybe a tutorial on that would be great.. and then where do I put them so I can see them and use them? This is a constant dilemma for me! Sometimes I just want to take all the scraps out of ALL my paper pads, and put them all together! but it scares me!
Marilyn McLeod Put them all together for sure! That’s what I’m doing in this video. If you choose the sizes you want and cut them down and prep them, you will be more likely to reach for them.
Marilyn McLeod I am not bothered whether papers including scraps are from the same collections as long as they look well together. I use strips of scraps on A6 cards to give a stripy effect, as long as the weights as similar and the colours / patterns look good together that is OK. Also patches of card pieces of different sizes together, put finished piece in an embossing folding and a stitched effect around each piece of paper for. Lovely quilted effect. I keep a stock of them, they only needs ribbon, a much bow and a greeting and all done. Very little waste
@@ruthportway5198 thank you for the suggestions! I've done the same as you have to get quilted effects. I did that last Christmas.. did strips in diagonals across the base paper.. ran it through my embossing machine and then cut out a shape with a die cut! Was so fun. I'm so hesitant to mix all my papers together! But.. if I cut them into pieces for mats, card fronts, strips, etc., then I can still pick through them. I figure I'll forget what collection they came from though.. but guess that really doesn't matter (to anyone else but me!!). Marilyn

I love how you did these. So organized. All ready to go. Can you tell me the finished sizes of your piles? 4x6, 2x6, ????
I did a similar thing, cutting down to std. sizes, but I put duct tape on the top and made them into little "tablets" according to color.
Just now watched this one. Such a great video. Thanks for all you do! Also, I am so jealous that you can cut in such a straight line! 😆 I cut like a first grader! Lol

What are project life cards?
Do you have an Etsy shop?
Found this in 2022. Do you still use this process?
If I don't organize I'm going to lose my mind lol
