  • Trick tip for the backside rock & roll on transition.
Turn your upper body at the same time you rock the board over. Keep your body weight inside the wall of the ramp, pool or bowl.

I only have access to 6FT transition, so no, im not gonna deck it you mad man. 😂😂😂
But i agree with everything you said.
Something no one mentions is that when you kickturn in, because the turn will take a little more time than normal, the wheels will slide a little bit and that is where people really freak out.

I recognized the bowl from the thumbnail. Love traveling from Sac to go skate that bowl! Great tutorial!

Those look so good decked out. I still get nervous getting the board all the way up on the deck but it makes sense that it's actually probably more stable and better that way. Need to work on just committing more.

From my experience, it really ends up being safer and actually easier. Don’t give up! If you can do a mid-board style, you can deck it.

Got em today in 4ft mini ramp. Gonna dial em in to where I really like the feel and then take em to 5ft and 7ft

Excellent! They are actually a bit easier on something a bit steeper. You might very well find the steps up to the 5 and 7 foot wall comes quick! Best of success to you!

Hope it proves helpful! The trick to the trick is in large part turning the upper body simultaneously when the board is rocked over. 👍
