There haven't been any Erica related scenes, so I decided to put this piece of art lol together instead (also includes some clips from older episodes).

@x0xmaddielayne Hahn was a character who was greater than any other character on the show, because of her diversity and depth and the way she'd challenge others and build up tension that served the storytelling well. Now GA is nothing but another doctors' soap opera on television, and that's the truth.

The show lost its most intriguing character when ABC decided to can her just like that...
I wish there was the possibility she would return, but after ABC's statements, I don't really see that happen. :-(
I don't think it was homophobia alone. I think the problem that led to all this had many levels. And they were just to thickheaded to solve it reasonably.
Now they're trying to make up for it with Zony Robbins (probably to prove how "gay-friendly" they are ... in order to silence the media ;-) ).
Whatever the case, the fact that Hahn is gone stands, and that's just one f*cked up taint they will never be able to erase....

@x0xmaddielayne Agreed. ;-) And I never said the show had turned into a soap opera because Erica Hahn was no longer on it; it was a general observation. :-)
@DocCovington Well, I do agree that the show is kind of a soap opera now. But it is not becasue of Hahn. And that said, it is still funny, entertaining, etc. Callie makes the show. But instead of having a usless debate on RUclips, let's just leave off with us stating our Opinions. :)

@DocCovington I am happy Hahn left... Sorry. She was ugly, and annoying. Besides Callie is amazing and deserves way better.... I can't say I really like Arizona, who she is with now... I like her and Mark. But still, Arizona is way better than Hahn... Callie/Sara deserves the best!

Yes, I actually did send a statement to ABC (in form of a letter ;) ).
And I think there are several factors at work here that led to this unfortunate outcome of bad writing, missed chances and inappropriate character write-offs.
Seeing as many American fans are complaining as well, I wouldn't put the blame on the whole system per se. ;-)
Well, apparently Shonda wanted to "turn" Callie into a lesbian (as she has) after Erica was gone (a.k.a. ABC forced Shonda to get rid of Brooke Smith's character)...
I am not pleased.
And now we'll have Calzone to make up for Hahn's sudden dismissal. Pffft... You can't replace Hahn, nor Callica!
yeah, honestly.
they always said gay or lesbian, it wasn't the right word, and that whole "you can't kind of be a lesbian" line was so wrong. it's called bisexuality, ABC; look it up.
