That’s what I call artful engineering! Lovely to watch.
German engineers in action 😎
@@hejasverigeee also Volkswagen, the Vehicle for the Town, but always very confident
@@hejasverigeee That's the scary part.
@@danr1920 Still working flawlessly 😎
Wonderful! Not only the Roof Cabrio System, also the space in the Back Seats, got if I don't get wrong 6 stears, and camera in back seats
What?
wow thanks for including a shot of the key
Wow! That is like a transformer-car. I want one of that.
We’re hoping to buy one of these soon, such a pretty looking car, but heard so much about the roof failing, I’m just going to have to learn about fixing the problems these could potentially have, still I like them.
Don't believe everything you hear. Mine's going on 120,000 mi. & never a problem with ANYTHING! And if you look up used one's you'll find many with well over 100,000 miles. The roof problems were like any other brand new MODEL, back in 2006-07, & they were fixed. Just stay away from ANY brand new model vehicles-they have new problems yet to be solved as well!
Now we just need some transformers sound effects
This is awesome! Doesn't look like there's any trunk space though. Most convertibles I've seen have at least a little with the top down.
Right 😎 There is a small boot space with top down, and of course the back seat.
It should play the Transformers must when it does this.
Yesssss, coming up soon 😎
With my luck, this would happen while the key fob is in my pocket
Thanks for the laugh... xD
Is it difficult to install by yourself, or you need specialist to do it?
Did it myself in two hours. I'm an average+ tinkerer.
Superb
Reminds me of a 1957 Ford Skyliner!
You click lock and unlock 3 times and it will work it’s magic?
How do you that with the remote exactly? Please explain step by step
It's described in the commentary under the video. You need to buy an AIO module. What you get then includes a manual.
thanks for the info ill make sure to get this if i decide to get the eos, im scared tho that the roof will cause problems quickly ill dig some deeper into it. polo 2018 2.0 dsg or 2013 eos 🤓🧐
Eos
Yeah, definitely EOS.
Eos.ive had one for 6 years.no issues
Is this key still available?
I thought this was standard? Or is it only on certain models?
The answer is in the video description
Not standard.
😍
Speeds up to 55 Km/h? Only if you want to destroy the car.
ROBOT!!! I love it
How dobyou do that?
Check the video description
What does the key control look like
It's just the key fob. The "Brains" are a tiny module which gets hidden away in a side panel where the wiring is on the drivers side-2 plugs exchanged for the module, then re-plugged. It's a 2 plug & play swap. Simple!
@@thicknjustrite where do I get it?
@@roycestricker Here you go man. Check out amazon too. May be hard to find since the car has been discontinued. I think there's another company making them too now, so do some research if this biz doesn't stock anymore:

I need a picture of the fuse at the door. can you help me
Maybe. Tell me more about your problem
@@hejasverigeee My husband changed one fuse (one of the ones at the door), and took out several of them at the same time and we don’t know where to return it. We put it back by heart, but car won't start.
@@mina710 Do you mean on the left hand side of the steering wheel? Behind the plastic cover?
@@hejasverigeee Yes. Right there.
@Lanne Malla Yes, just give me an email address
Im sure that kills the battery pretty quick
No
If you do it a lot in a day could be I think (like put down and up the roof 10 times daily)
Roof convertion takes only 50W.
A normal 100Ah car battery has in theory the capacity of 50 Watts for more than 1000 minutes, and one roof convertion only takes 30 seconds. We have never had problems with battery due to roof convertions 😎
Mine never had an issue.
Do you have to get a special mod for your key fob?
john bariss
Yes, it's all described under the video
@@hejasverigeee I guess than that is optional, but also can leave it just openning since the inside
is there 1 for a mk 2 Renault megane cc
Not sure. Check out the www.dachmodule.de website :)
Honestly Volkswagen Eos is way better, but must say than Renault Megane Cabrio is more economic, thats mean than takes less time to get the money and buy that this one (maybe half time) for example if takes 3 years gattering to buy a Volkswagen Eos, takes 1 year and a couple of month more to buy the Renault Megane Cabrio
way to complicated when that goes wrong ?????
