Well shit nothings never easy right. That sucks about the 55 hub you know I did the same thing on my original 55 truck hubs. I cut those rivets off and beat the rivets out and doing so I bent the damn hub. Didn't think I was hitting it that hard but I guess I was. I put a straight edge on the outside of the hub and seen where it was bent got a big ass hammer and put it on a flat piece of steel and beat it back really flat. I almost got it perfect like new again. They are not as strong as they look being a 1/4 inch or more thick.
That was a good burn out in the Nova 😁 take it easy brother 👍🏻
