I always loved that park. But was terrified of the chair lift across the water. Because the fish in that lake are gigantic. Great Video.

Vicki, it is a hidden gem. There are still a lot of those carp in the lake but not as many as there once was. When I first started going there, when you threw popcorn in the lake, they would swirl around like a bunch of piranha and that made them scary. 😯

I love the paddle boats and the train. That's about all that wouldn't make me nauseous.

Haven't been since 1987. I was 17 or 18. So much seems to not be working now. And yes that was a pool. I wouldn't pay for that with nothing working. Laugh but my favorite ride was the Hodges hand cranked rail cars. They were for smaller kids but even when i got to be teen I always rode them. Was so strong by then i could fly around the track..turned the back corner with one side off the track, Miss those.

Yes sir, my daughter would do the rail cars too. I remember when they only charged $1 for admission and you bought tickets to ride the rides or you could buy an all day arm band. That was nice when my parents would go and they didn't ride, they just paid the $1 to get in and bought the kids the all day pass. Now everyone pays whether you ride or not.

OMG I remember the Hand Cranked Rail Cars when I was a kid and oddly there track path is still there even though them rides have been gone for many years.

I can’t believe they changed the Castle dark ride into the Wacky Factory. It saddened me the day I went there with my family. I grew up in Georgia and had been to Lake Winnie so many times. Eventually moving to Nebraska and starting a family. We came down a few years ago to visit family and I took them to Lake Winnie with stories of how great it was only to find out that the iconic and very classic Bill Tracy Castle ride had been changed to the Wacky Factory.... not to mention his also very classic original Wacky Shack walk through ride had also been torn down...

Yes Jason, the Castle was awesome. I really liked the way it traveled up to and then down from the second level. There was one trip there while riding it I leaned over the side of the car at the beginning to see the water and got clubbed in the head by a beam. That ride through I saw stars too. Thanks for watching and for the comment.

Yes it is. When it is fully opened, there are more things to do there like bumper cars, the boat chute, carousel and more of the carnival type rides. Thank you so much for watching Joy Blessed Life. I love your name.

I remember going to Lake Winnepesaukah during the 70s like 1973 or 1974 the train used to go through a tunnel as a matter of fact I believe they had two trains there was one saying you would get on and cowboys with come along and try to rob you while you was on the train they also had a spider Rod when he first walked into the entrance and they also had a haunted house and on top of the haunted house you can see the evil witch looking out through the window she wore crown and also their Scrambler ride was different it was all silver and it had a big Crystal Diamond Jim on the top of it the scramble that they have now look smaller but back in the day they had a bigger one

Randall. We didn't start going there until the mid 80's. I don't remember the train tunnel but I do remember the haunted house. It was where the wacky factory is now. I appreciate you watching and thanks for the comment.

Do they still have the boardwalk games and the arcade? Id be most interested in the old arcade with the vintage machines from the early 80s in it.

Daehawk, when I was there about 10 years ago, they had some. This past summer everything through the boardwalk area was shut down due to the virus and they had them blocked so you couldn't see if they were still there are not.
