I wanted to comment but I had the concern of doing something wrong. So Yemaya has been teaching me to be vulnerable. This is me being vulnerable. I received a dream which I was initiated. I didn’t ask for this to occur. Tonight we’re doing a healing ritual ceremony for healing of the waters , emotions and divine feminine. I’m not connected to anyone or any spiritual group. I was a Christina then Hebrew Israelite not long ago! I can’t explain how ended up where I am today except that it was spiritual and a calling of sorts. I played the ritual and my altar to Yemaya. I did everything she told me to do. I’ve never read books or studied her. But everything she has told me has been proven since I’ve been researching her. I have sickle cell anemia which I am healing holistically and spiritually. I’ve been getting surgery in Florida, we were just there 2 weeks ago . I was called to the beach and the waters. I gave my crystals to her and flowers. I had no idea why I was doing this except I had been told to do so in dream a and mediations. When we got beach home to Memphis and learned of the beaches being closed due to a flesh eating bacteria on the water , I knew Yemaya had protected us from it because we were in the same waters as those who contracted this bacteria and 2 of them died. Another synchronicity was a man and his wife visited the Florida beaches just like we did but got this also and they died here in Memphis shortly after they got back. Within 24 hours I believe. Keep in mind , I had just come out of surgery , so I was high risk of being someone to get the flesh eating bacteria. Also lightening hit out only tree in the front yard as soon as we arrived back in Memphis. Not fully sure as to what that means but we knew it was a sign. She also told me not to use the Florida water we collected and I didn’t know why. Also the fish and 2 dolphins cane within 3 feet of us in very shallow waters on the beach. It was so unbelievable , so I recorded this. A few days ago a storm came and I called for a rainbow for encouragement because the pain I experience was extremely bad. A rainbow appeared right in didn’t of me and was only there for 2-5 mins. I also recorded that be she I know it was a sign to me. I also found out my lymphatic system was toxic and sluggish in a meditation and a dream . So I went to get a bio scan so that I can use energy medicine and herbs to heal but I needed confirmation of what my intuition was telling me. My kidneys had also began to fail. So I’m currently doing a kidney flush, fasting for 2 weeks and using a lymphatic cleansing formula . This isn’t half of the sign and synchronizaties that have opened this path for me . One other huge one tho, the dream home we bought which cleared the day after my birthday (this wasn’t intentional) was painted blue in the living room , both downstairs bathrooms an the master bedroom. Blue happens to be my favorite color! There were mermaids all over from the previous owner. I said to myself, either I’m going crazy or this is a path connected to my souls purpose. Since I’m in the Bible Belt, I can’t talk to anyone about this. I am estranged from my family. Which is ok because I have peace where I didn’t before . I’ve been watching your channel off and on for a year . But these occurrences didn’t happen after watching you speak on the topic. I have no one in my family that I know of who are familiar with African deities. So I can’t logically explain how I know so much about something I’ve never been exposed to. The only thing I can say is , it must be in my blood line. So tonight we will not be petitioning her for anything, we will only be giving thank to her for her patience and her guidance. We are also setting an intention on healing naturally as we align with her energy. She is in pain. I can feel her. Before the storms , floods and hurricanes, I dreamt of all of it years ago up to present. So if there are any warnings you feel I need to know , I surrender what I think is right to be corrected with gratitude. Which is another lesson she’s dealing with me on. She says our ppl used to acknowledge her collectively and offer healing of needed but we have become unconscious and we haven’t been given her the reverence she deserves! Oh and one last thing , Yeye Teish channel replied to me after sharing the healing ceremony we’re gonna do. She is a respected elder from what I know, so that was another sign that this path is a chosen one for my soul! Ase’ sister !

So you have to be initiated to sing to her and give offerings? Not trying to be funny, honest question...I've been drawn to her and have a strong connection to her. After reviewing my natal chart I noticed I have a lot of water in my chart....maybe that's why? But I heard you can't work with Orishas unless you've been initiated, is that true?
3TLOVER In most cases, it is fine for Aleyos to give offerings in nature with the guidance of their Godparent. The makeshift altars that people be having with no initiation is the issue.
Another thing, our astrological chart nothing to do with which Orisha guides our Head. Which means, there are Gemini children of Elegba, Taurus, Aquarius, etc. Gemini Yemayas. Capricorn Yemayas. Etc. The Orishas Transcend our Natal charts.
