The Last House On Needless Street is one of my absolute faves!! I recommend it to everyone!! Have you read The Patient by Jasper Dewitt? Highly recommend the audio. I listened alone in the dark and it totally freaked me out 👀
It’s so good right? 👏 I have heard amazing things about The Patient (specifically the audiobook) so will be adding that to my list right now! Thanks for the rec :)
I was obsessed with the Horrorstor book because it was topnotch with magazine-like pages! And it was the first time I came across a channel recommending that book. 😄
Just subscribed!!! I've read some of these books already but I'm definitely gonna get Stolen Tongues andCamp Slaughter!!! Thanks for your recommendations!!!
I loved hearing about all of the scary books!.. i wouldnt dare read them but the scariest thing of all to me was being stuck in ikea all night! .look forward to your next vlog x
@@georgianic right! Any reqs I see.. are nothing like it! I think that’s just a fear of mine.. dark, outside woods. I did see devolution by max brooks is supposed to be similar so I bought it but haven’t read it haha

I cannot pass these mini pumpkins without buying a few 🧡😂 thank you so much for watching and for deciding to stick around! I hope you enjoy the books!! 🫶 x
I'm thinking of ending things was pretty good but lost me toward the end. I loved the car ride to his family house, something about an open dialougue between two characters really hits the spot especially when you start piecing things together. Anyways gonna try stolen tongues bc of your recommendations!
Yes I totally get that! The start of the book is so strong! I love reading about two people talking and things unravelling as you read! Hope you like Stolen Tongues - it’s so fun!
I have recently finished Stolen Tongues, and I LOVED IT!!! I genuinely thought I could see things moving around in the darkness in my room whilst reading that book... I was SPOOKED.
Great List! I normally have a tough time finding something interesting to read since if you have watched and read horror all your life, nothing surprises you. I read Last House On Needlees Street. Although I figured out what was going on pretty early in the book, it was a great read. Thanks for the tip on Stolen Tongues. So far, it is interesting as well. I also downloaded samples of Pretty Girls and Imaginary Friend.
Totally agree - not much shocks me anymore so I know I’ve found a gem when it does! Yes such a fun read, I was firmly in the camp of *had no idea what was going in, and was completely mind blown when it was revealed-*😂 hope you enjoy!!! Pretty Girls is the most disturbing read, I’ve found nothing like it since!
I definitely need to pick some of these up!! I did pick up Night of the Living Mannequins and ended up DNF'ing it unfortunately. It just wasn't for me! But I really want to pick up other books by Stephen Graham Jones soon!
I think out of all of these if you’re gonna pick up one - do The Whisper Man (for a fun thrilling read) or Stolen Tongues (to be scared) 🫶 Thanks for watching lovely!
Hello, your video popped up on my RUclips feed so hey and I’ve subscribed, and added these recommendations to my spooky books recommendations list on Goodreads
Great recommendation,PRETTY GIRLS is on my wishlist forever,THE WHISPER MAN is on my TBR shelf and I'M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS was AMAZING,loved it ❤️
Thank you for these recommendations! I feel like you mostly enjoy rather scary horror books/thrillers but have you read The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey? It's my fav book, and it is not exactly scary imo but the characters are amazing and they have very strong developments. The main character is a 10-year old girl, who is not your typical main character. It includes zombies, but it's not rlly about that, to me it's about what makes smth a monster and it's just really good and the ending has a twist you probably wouldn't expect. It's very well written and great for anyone who loves books that make them think (and metaphors!) I wish everyone who reads this a great day!🥰
Okay, I stumbled upon this video since I am looking for a new book recommendation and it popped up. I had no idea what your taste is so i was not sure if your list would ma6ch what I like to read. Then you suggested "Night of the Mannequins"... and yeah, your taste matches mine since I read that awhile ago and it is absolutely stellar.
I just came across this video so I’m late to the game but Stolen Tongues is narrated on RUclips by a channel called Be Busta and it’s named My Cabin Getaway. It is TERRIFYING to hear it aloud!! Also I loved your recommendations, thank you!
oooh it’s been a while since i read it now so i will have to watch this & revisit! i bet hearing it outloud is 10x scarier!! thanks for watching and for the rec!!! ☺️
The Last House on Needless Street felt like the book that never ends. The first few chapters were good, however, the twist became obvious half way through. Then the author spent the last three chapters explaining/justifying the twist. And the only character I really felt much sympathy for was the cat.
Oh no! I’m sad to hear you didn’t like it! I think that book is either a love or hate from other reviews I’ve seen! Yes I agree about the cat, I felt the same about the characters!
Penpal by dathan auberach is hands down the scariest most unnerving book I’ve ever read. Still think about it to this day.. also the exorcist of course made this 32 year old woman want to leave the light on before bed 😂
I love scary book recommendations 🎃🤡👻 I've just read Night of the prowler by Jon athan , it's an extreme horror book, very sick & gory, although I did enjoy it!
