  • Sasha Vezenkov is unique: he is the unofficial EuroLeague MVP for the 1st part of the season, but he has done it with only 26 (!) dribbles. In this video, BasketNews’ Augustas Suliauskas looks at how Olympiacos Piraeus’ forward dominates the game without even dribbling.

All of our players are willing passers, half of the passes Jokić does and americans gas about are just logical passes for an european. Especially first touch, those give and go's, one-two's they are called in football. It's just common sense that the ball will always move faster than any player on the court can.

Imagine a strong side pick-and-roll situation between Fox and Sabonis with Vezenkov on the wing and Huerter in the weak side corner. Even with the fabulous season that he's having in EuroLeague right now, he struggles to close out to shooters with the kind of quickness and positioning that NBA defences would require.
