    Data dependent = stable prices (fed mandate)
    Fed's inception was 1913 - Stable prices EVER SINCE!!! lol

    It’s not the job, inflation not any data that is blocking the rate down adjustment. It’s the Chinese economy which is holding there without collapse in spite of the media wishful thinking. Once the Chinese economy collapses, the rate will be down so that US capital can go in and acquire good value assets there like what they have been doing around the world in the past. But unfortunately China is holding up this time with its massive foreign reserves and domestic market. If the rate is down now, that means high interest rate effort by the US for the past two and a half years fails.
