The GSXR600 is a great beginner bike. My 24 year old daughter rides one, and the bike is extremely reliable. The good thing about the 600 is that there is very little torque, and will not wheelie unless you clutch it up. The brakes are good, and it handles quite well, although it is quite under-powered. Its a great bike for people entering the entry level sport-bike class, allowing them time to gain experience before moving to a full sized man's bike.
George McKean lol the 600 is not a beginner's bike. The R models anyway. Even the f4i moves like hell. Sv650 is a beginner's bike. 65 horsepower. The gsxr and the CBR double r have more than 115 HP. It's tuned for racing. I have owned a zx10 a zx-14 but I still prefer the 600 it's all you need. 280+/- top speed and 0-100kmh in just under 3 seconds. Ya good for beginners 🤣

well but it depends. 600cc sbk's sound ecstatic in my opinion but more revs with little pistons bring less engine life. also acceleration after 200 km/s liter bikes are quite faster. also this is for everyone; if you care about fuel with a sportbike, get a scooter.
Did you do the cat hack, or are you using the 06/07 header? Awesome vid. I've got a slip on right now but the cat is still in place and not only looks like shit, but is robbing me of powerrrr lol
I know its been a while since a post here, but im looking at the 08 gixxer 600, but id like to know from someone with experience as to why you upgraded rom the 07. Also seeing as the 12 is out now, what are your thoughts? I know they have a control for drive type A,B and C but thats a bit of a gimmik as ill be using this as a daily.
Yeah, I'm not too stoked on it :s Crazy story behind it though haah Was driving home from camping and 3 sick cars passed me :s 2 Supras and an Integra that were just done up to shit haha... so I started racing them and shit and ended up slowing down a bit with one of them... a cop comes flying from behind us and pulls me over... then 3 other cops fly over the grass median and pull the other 3 cars over... 2 of the cars got impounded and me and the other guy got big tickets for excessive :(
gotcha, I guess the speedometer is like 20% off or something passed 150km/h or something like that... the digital one sucks I guess? haha sorry I wasn't trying to be ignorant :)
nice vid i have a 750 k9 but sounds the same like yours with jardine gp1 brutal sound on full throtel some people turn around 1/2 mile in front of you :D crazy sound i love it and the look is just great you also removed the back dont know the word in english pedals in the back that give it a real tight look but you can have your license plate where ever you want here in austria they are crying if you have it normaly fixed but more than 30° up and we have bigger plates
@goosedizzel i preffer the 750 but thats my opinion i have k6 600 and an k9 750. when im cruising just to chill out i ride in mode c or if im going full on i ride mode a i hardly use b. i never looked at k8 & k9 600's do they have the abc mode?
@acetelenta because the gsxr is the true sport bike from the 600 and more cc... And the machine is pure awsomnes! If you are a mechanic you will understand...

I traded in my k9 gixxer 1000 for a 2010 gixxer 600 and because of this video I ordered the same exhaust.
@goosedizzel When you try the 1000cc you will see the difference and then you will like more 1000cc.
