Ever since I found the Hebrew words mark, matthew, luke and (j)ohn in Proverbs passage on the way of life, I have sincerely hoped to understand more. Yesterday I was reading Hannah's magnificat and now I'm wondering what are these pillars of the earth? So, I'm listening again to Proverbs. The Lord usually answers my questions. There's always hope!
So, another look into Hannah gives me to understand the sad state of the priesthood with Eli and sons. Hannah lent her son for love of the Lord and Israel. Apparently she is of Arimethea. And the tomb of Joseph of arimathea is near the cross.(Joseph carries the name of Ephraim's birth father. It's always fascinated me that Joseph of A. was honored to play the role of Jesus' father in several ways. And he is described as "good"--αγαθα.) If the pillars are mountains that hold the gate to heaven as some say, maybe this home of Hannah is one of those mountains/gate towers.
Proverbs is definitely about a way/road. It begin like a map with two voices calling out to the young man on which way ro go. One voice wants him to turn into the house of adultery where the floor "inclineth" like a sliding board to certain death. The other voice is wisdom. Later it looks like wisdom might equate with tree of life--I'm not sure yet. But I would expect to find that tree when I get to the garden and FaceTime with the presence of God. (I'll be looking for some possible reference to the almond tree.)
LET NOT ( MERCY AND TRUTH. ) (. FORSAKE THEE😮 ) ONCE SAVED ARE YOU ALWAYS SAVED ? ON BECAUSE OUR FAITH ALONE WITHOUT BAPTISM IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. BY WATER BAPTISM IS A MUST . WE MUST TURN AWAY FROM SINS WILFULLY AND REPENT OF SINS DAILY ONCE SAVED. ALWAYS SAVED ?

Oh, yes. She's definitely at the head of the way--at the gates. Is wisdom one of the gate towers? Is the other tower important, too--like two pillars?
