normality is a spectrum in my opinion mainly due to the fact within a adnormal situation people tend to apply an adnormal outcome to get out of said situation or like how after enough trauma within life your strong stimuli start firing at the smallest endeavors within your day to day life but due to the strong stimuli being wasted on a small stressor continuously your brain starts firing the weak stimuli to do the strong stimuli's job hence why big events tend not to affect many with trauma but they could say they're having the worst day they've ever experienced because some didn't wave back at them.

Capitalist society's culture praises inhuman and unrealistic standards. It's cool to pretend to be something you're not. The ideal capitalist is supposed to be emotionless, never make mistakes, and have unattainable desires. If you show emotion, then you're making a scene. If you make a mistake, then you're the scapegoat for everyone's problems. If you're happy with minimal material, then you're laughable or insane. I personally prefer the lines from Ghostemane ‘fuck what your friends say, fuck what the man says’ and MC Ride ‘be the freak that you wanna see just don’t follow me’ as simple phases in that line of thought go but I generally think about the life of Diogenes balanced with the thoughts of Marcus Aurelius to steer my ship.

Beautiful! "A simple, frugal heart"...this is what's real. The dancing & singing in public, throwing oneself in the ocean etcetera aren't what a reckless abandonment of unhappiness look like: it looks like whatever it means to you. It can look like allowing yourself to sleep 17 hours a day with zero guilt, or stopping to save a turtle even if you're interrupting traffic. It's the 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 part of it, if you're causing no harm (inconveniencing or annoying another person doesn't count--they need to learn that they are not especially entitled to existence). Your experience is yours, and another's is another's; if you are a madman to them, and they roll their eyes...you may consider them a bore, and roll your eyes in return...or you may feel a bigness of heart for them and say "namaste", & wish them a glimpse of nirvana.

I name music, mostly in Ableton Live but I also play bass guitar. It started about a year ago that I couldn't be satisfied with anything I made and I thought it was by default bad until I got to a largely detached final product, such was becoming increasingly rare. I'd show my music to others and they'd seem genuinely impressed by it, but I didn't feel it. It was because I couldn't let myself be insane when I made music. In order to make music you have to be mad, mad enough that you believe somebody could enjoy your music or even find meaning in it, usually meaning you never intended. You must be mad to believe it can be worthwhile, and in many ways you must be mad to enjoy music at all, because after all it's just noise, wiggly air. Why do you like it? You don't know and neither do I.

    LISTEN TO THE AUDIOBOOK!
If you like audiobooks, the Zorba audiobook is briliant. Any time the reader does Zorba's voice, it puts a huge smile on my face. Even just the way he says the word "boss" paints such an endearing picture of an old man living his truest life!

All people do is compare each other as if they were objects. People strive to be like others to be accepted instead of having individuality. No wonder nobody wants to be themselves.

A cool idea for another series for you would be "Greatest Fictional Philosophers/Philosophies" or something of the sort. You could go in depth of the mindset of characters, as examples, like Loki, or maybe institutions like Big Brother.
Im just shooting shit out my ass, but take the idea if you want lol.
