Adams made Vuc his bitch tonight. Vuc is more important to Chicago than derozan and lavine. Those 2 have such bad defense, they NEED vuc to protect the paint in order to beat the best teams. Chicago could have made a deep run if they added a paint protector, but I think this team gets knocked out of the playoffs early. They are still to fun to watch and one piece away from making a big run next year.
I still laugh thinking about those who acted like Steven Adams was a scrub when he was traded for Valenciunas. 21 rebounds, 8 of them OR, and the biggest plus/minus differential on the court. The PERFECT sidekick for Ja.
He is absolutely perfect in that team…i always said that ..steven can be a great player if surrounded with the right guys.
Perfect role player, doesn't need to be a star. His screens are so good, especially for a super athletic guard like russ or ja to exploit, his timing is good and know how to pin them down. I do think he had some kind of chronic injury or ailment before tho, because he wasn't moving very well for the pelicans, or maybe it was just how they were using him.

@@voongnz I think that was just the pelicans play. They arnt a team, its just a bunch of solo ghetto street ballers, so Adams was only useful as a big rebounding body. Memphis is playing great team ball so Adam's screens and even passing has been used much better.

Should have ran that last play for Lavine. Derozan would have served as a perfect decoy there, seeing his recent clutch time performances. They should deliberately develop Zach in the clutch too, and have it as a one two punch, with Derozan the go to man, and Lavine a close second, and maybe even first when you need a three

The bulls were screwed by the refs Adams moved multiple times on those screens and fouled people and got away with it. Ja palmed the ball as well and got away with it driven to the basket. I do not blame derozen for being pissed with that kinda officiating. If ball and caruso would have played we would have won
