Greater bonewalkers damage strength and endurance, not drain them- so yes, they’ll be permanently lowered until you restore them with a spell or potion or shrine. You’ve beaten tribunal, so you should have Almalexia’s light, which is a power which will restore all your attributes by 25 points.
Greater bonewalkers damaging your strength is certainly one of the mechanics of all time

Yes Emmit. By now you're supposed to have the Mark, Recall, Divine/Almsivi Intervention, Levitate, Water Walking and Water Breathing spells.
Mark and Recall are extremely useful
The one thing that is really useful is a Scroll of Windwalker. I always just by a few hundred of those and spend no time on travelling for the rest of the game

I just wanted to share some of my knowledge to you that can make your playthrough like 10 times faster:
There's a scroll called 'Scroll of Windwalker', which makes you fly with enormous speed for 60 sec. However, as far as I know, there's no scrollseller in the game who has it constantly, it appears randomly in one of their ittem lists. I always buy them from the dunmer dude in Cladera's mages' guild second floor. If he doesn't have it - just quit the game and enter it again (repeat the process as many times as necessary). It took me anout 7 minutes once, but last two times he had the scrolls right away. You have to click 'barter', buy one scroll and then click 'barter' again, you can repeat it indefinitely. Unfortunately, you have to stand high enough in mages' guild hierarchy to be able to trade with that dude. But you can earn your keep in about 20 minutes completing the quests from Ald-Ruhn's Breton girl and Balmora's Khajit girl, both questslines are quick and easy. If you don't want to do that, the Dunmer Enchanter in the Scar of Ald-Ruhn also has these scrolls, but less often I think. Sorry for telling you just now when the let's plat series are almost over, but I hope at least somebody reading it can use it on his next playthrough
P.S.: I misremembered the scroll name, it's "Scroll of Windform". Scroll of Windwalker appears the same way and has the same effect, but it's 5 times more expensive for some reason

Oh, and by the way, saw you suffering from the damage strength spell again, it's those meaty undead conjured thing doing it, I hate them too. You should always carry a couple of restore strength potions with you. And if you have any fortify strength enchantments equipped -(I think you do) - you should take them offbefore drinking the potions, otherwise your strength will only be restored to your default level, decreased by the um of the enchantments. Oblivion has this problem too..m

It didn't unlock the chest with the scroll because the lock is level 60, and the scroll is "Open 40 to 60", so it randomly rolls a number between 40-60 which it'd be able to unlock, and you'd have to get very lucky to open a 60 with it.
Took long enough to hit the greater bonewalker damage strength drop all your stuff part of the game.

Greater bonewalkers are horrible enemies. The fact they damage your strength and endurance with each hit is gross. Always carry restore strength potions, restore attribute spell, fortify strength potion, strength boosting alcoholic drinks or items that give you the feather effect for those pricks or forever be locked in place with 0 strength and maximum encumbrance. 😂

Yeah, the Restore strength spell you already have is gonna help with being encumbered, if your Magicka skills can handle it 😀 or a Restore attributes shrine. Or having the potion

I get it'll sound mean but it feels like you're trying too hard to make dialog through these Morrowind episodes. Normally when you're with Max it feels like your just playing and the camera just happens to be rolling. Like you're genuinely you and nothing can change that but here maybe a little disingenuous. I'll always watch your stuff and hang out, love ya and everything man, just some honest feedback because I'm getting the impression this series is just work for you and you're not in it, you know? idk
Edit: coming from a place where I'm more worried about you than the content. scrap it if you are tired of it, Skywind will be out soon enough and I'm sure you and all of us will love to see you play that. Hell, maybe Max will even join if he can get the time from work.
Morrowind is a shit game, tbh. But Emmy is a Completionist, a True GAMER! He will see it to the end even if the game is shit in comparison to Oblivion and Skyrim.
Well, what else is he supposed to do when he's playing alone? Of course he is gonna try to be entertaining, like all let's players. The quests can get tiring, but nothing wrong if he wants to finish the game. I personally want to see him finish it, he already got so far.

I think he seems fine to me.. it's just a given because of the way the game is. Morrowind is a much more cerebral game and it forces you to slow down and think. Would be the same even if Max was there. It's refreshing actually tbh.
