Foxboro/Gillette Stadium is tough since WWE has never really run there. Foxboro is too far away from Boston, which is why we will never get a WrestleMania (tour far away from a tourist-y location). They were supposed to do Summerslam 2020 in Boston but COVID stopped that. I think TD Garden would make more sense, but not against Gillette at all, just think WWE wouldn't go there
What most people don't know is that the first two kings of the ring were held in Foxboro I was there for both, it would be a good place to do something special for all of New England like a special House show or something were they will sell that place out for him.

Belts are put on people the company sees value in and who the crowd reacts to most. He made “creating moments” the more valuable criteria, but the wrestlers who have those “moments” are the ones they put belts on, it shows you’re a top tier performer and reliable… even if you didnt win it for real, it is metaphorically a win in the sense that it was earned through performance. Even transitional champions are people the company trusts, an old vet people still believe in, or a young person they see future success with. It’s always symbol of “this person is above the rest in some meaningful way.” Secondly, does John need the 17th? No. But if you’re WWE, do you want Flair to keep that record given how his reputation has taken significant hits over the years from the plane ride from hell dark side to his drunken outbursts to SIGNING WITH AEW?!? It would seem tasteless if Ric was dead, but while he’s still alive, it makes more sense to give the record to the guy with the most make a wish appearances than the guy who cornered women on planes naked, and went to go sell energy drinks on the other show. Thirdly, I don’t know why he thinks reminding people John hasn’t won in 7 years would be a good way to sell John Cena. So, if Cena wrestled a Jey Uso or Dom Mysterio level guy 14 years ago, he wouldn’t struggle too much to win. Here is my idea. The story here is that Cena is trying to win number 17. First raw of Netflix Cena vs Sami zayn. What a way to start off the move to Netflix with a Cena main event match with Sami zayn. Cena wins. Royal rumble Cena enters at number 17. The last few remaining in the rumble are Cena orton punk and Aj. A huge tease to what is to come later. Orton wins the rumble and challenges Cody for the wwe title. Elimination chamber: cena v drew v Seth v Sami v punk v bronn. Cena and Drew are the last 2 and cena wins and now challengers Gunther for the world title. Mania: cena vs Gunther for the world title. Cody vs orton for wwe title. Cody and Gunther both win their matches. Cena come up short. Cody issues an open challenge on smackdown and Cena answers. Backlash Cena vs cody. Cody wins and orton comes out of nowhere and attacks rhodes setting up a rematch between rhodes and orton. Cena now starts to get desperate. He goes back to raw to challenge Gunther again but this time cm punk interjects and says he wants a shot. Punk and Cena decide to have a match at mitb and the winner faces Gunther. Cena is still a baby face but a more aggressive baby face so This is essentially the closest Cena heel turn u will get without him being a heel. Cena now that he ran through practically everyone Adam Pearce and nick Aldos said that we’re more deserving. So nick Aldos makes a fatal 4 way match on smackdown. Cena vs Aj vs rhodes vs knight. Cena pins rhodes and is now gonna face orton at survivor series. This is it Cena last chance. Cena and orton have huge build up. The marketing is crazy. Remember orton is the heel which makes it even better. Cena defeats orton and wins number 17. Cena did it he finally broke the record. But that celebration is short lived because in comes logan Paul with the money in the bank brief case and cashes on Cena. Logan hits his finisher on Cena but the return of super Cena comes in and he kicks out. The match goes on for another 7 minutes and Cena looks like he might pull through and beat Paul. But Paul uses the brass knuckles when the ref wasn’t looking and Paul hits his finisher again. 1 2 3 Logan is now the new wwe champion. And Cena officially retires the next raw.

Yep that's true that NBC will have four Primetime specials every year with the new NBC Universal / Smackdown deal. And given that WWE really don't do premium live events for the main roster in December since Triple H took over, it will make so much sense for John Cena's final match be one of those NBC Primetime specials. If it does become a NBC Primetime special, what day it will be on? It won't be on Sunday because NBC will still do Sunday Night Football in december, it won't be on Monday because of Monday Night raw, it won't be on Tuesday because NBC will have the NBA back by then and they will be having games on Tuesday nights and it won't be on Friday because of Friday night smackdown. That leaves wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and Saturday makes the most sense. And if that's the case, that could be the return of Saturday night's main event, just saying.
If I'm booking I'm having Cena win the RR to be only the 2nd person to win 3 of them. Then I'd have him face Cody for the WWE Title at WM. At his 1st WM he won his first title. The dude won every match and it didn't do a damn thing to add on to his career. Him just stepping foot in WWE meant more than his whole AEW run. With Cena he should win matches on the B PLEs but on the big 3 (Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam) he should give back to the guys who need that push.

So cena literally beats everyone else on raw and smackdown to show that none of them are more deserving. He beats jey uso, sheamus, Chad gable, finn balor, Damian priest on raw. And on smackdown Cena beats Kevin owens, la knight, Carmelo hayes. Cena is still a baby face but a more aggressive baby face so This is essentially the closest Cena heel turn u will get without him being a heel.
Cena now that he ran through practically everyone Adam Pearce and nick Aldos said that we’re more deserving. So nick Aldos makes a fatal 4 way match on smackdown. Cena vs Aj vs rhodes vs knight. Cena pins rhodes and is now gonna face orton at survivor series. This is it Cena last chance.
Cena and orton have huge build up. The marketing is crazy. Remember orton is the heel which makes it even better.
Cena defeats orton and wins number 17. Cena did it he finally broke the record. But that celebration is short lived because in comes logan Paul with the money in the bank brief case and cashes on Cena. Logan hits his finisher on Cena but the return of super Cena comes in and he kicks out. The match goes on for another 7 minutes and Cena looks like he might pull through and beat Paul. But Paul uses the brass knuckles when the ref wasn’t looking and Paul hits his finisher again. 1 2 3 Logan is now the new wwe champion. And Cena officially retires the next raw.

Yep that's true that NBC will have four Primetime specials every year with the new NBC Universal / Smackdown deal. And given that WWE really don't do premium live events for the main roster in December since Triple H took over, it will make so much sense for John Cena's final match be one of those NBC Primetime specials. If it does become a NBC Primetime special, what day it will be on? It won't be on Sunday because NBC will still do Sunday Night Football in december, it won't be on Monday because of Monday Night raw, it won't be on Tuesday because NBC will have the NBA back by then and they will be having games on Tuesday nights and it won't be on Friday because of Friday night smackdown. That leaves wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and Saturday makes the most sense. And if that's the case, that could be the return of Saturday night's main event, just saying.

@andreleao7758 yea he should build up momentum. I agree, but to win every match doesn't make sense. Just like Sting's AEW run. The dude won every match and it didn't do a damn thing to add on to his career. Him just stepping foot in WWE meant more than his whole AEW run. With Cena he should win matches on the B PLEs but on the big 3 (Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam) he should give back to the guys who need that push.

I have never been a Cena fan, his ring work wasn't for me and his whole Hustle, Loyalty, Respect Character was just too generic and bland for my tatse. However we've never really seen Cena under the Triple H administration. So I do look forward to seeing what they do with him his last active year in the business.
